We got an email that looked like it was from microsoft  about our pc having many many problems.  We clicked on the site and was charged 39.94 and given a tel. # to call.  We called and they accessed our computer-we are still thinking we are dealing with microsoft- then they tried to sale us services for a total of about $300. I told them we could buy a new computer for the price they were asking to "fix" ours.  He said since we were so old that we didn't need a new one, just get this one fixed by them!!!  I said NO NO NO and he hung up. We can't see that anything was done for the 39.94. I note this is a company based in Canada

If you paid by credit card, challenge that charge immediately with the card customer service people.

Well, it's 6:17 AM on Saturday, 6/14/14.  My wife's birthday!  And apparently I was also just ripped off for the same $39.94.  The Lord was screaming at me to bail on this offer but I didn't listen!  Such is life...such is life!  Now, I get to explain it to my family!  Let's pray that they make no further attempt to extract more money from our now vulnerable information, no doubt being stored in their system!

I got the same thing, saying my of had lot of problems and they would fix it for $38.94 and then got the same song and dance from them.  I finally hung up on them then later found out they could get into my computer whenever they wanted but luckily while looking for something I deleted their access!  Scam for sure.  I just found the paperwork while sorting through papers.
