Michelle was the caller adn she stated she with account services with an urgent account notification.  Our landlord has the phone in her name as part of the cable and rent package and she does not use this as her home base number.  We found this call to be odd.  within minutes the lady called back and insited we give out the landlords cell phone number as the situation was urgent.  We told Michelle we would relay the message to our landlord and looked on here to see where the number went to.  My fiance and I both bank with chase adn did not recognize the way the call was conducted not the phone number.  We contacted Chase and they stated this is not there number and that is not how they woudl go about notifying anyone about account information.  BEWARE!!

A lady left a voicemail at work after 8PM. Said she was with card services and to call and an adviser will be more tham happy to assist me. I'm glad I googled their number first. These scammers probably want to steal my card number and SS.

Received a call from this number at our office. They asked to speak with a guy that doesn't work here any longer. Caller claimed to be 'Reagan Hendrix,' and was from Chase Cardmember services. Pressed for information on how to contact said former co-worker. I took down his name and number and said I would forward it to him.
After Googling the number and seeing these posts, I'm guessing that he won't get the message...

Female caller with a heavy foreign accent supposedly from Chase Bank wanting a call back. Stated this was urgent and was not a marketing call.

Left a message on my answering machine. It was a male who's English was so poor that I could not understand anything he said except for the call back number which was 888-293-5321. I have caller ID and they called from a completely different number than the 888#. I am glad I googled this and read what everyone else had to say. I don't have a Chase card and have never dealt this a Chase bank in my life. This is obviously a scam.
BTW: The name on the caller ID. said "telemarketing"

I've received calls from this number at home, cell, and now at work. Same messages as previously listed on this site. Watch out!

I've been receiving repeated annoying calls during the last week from different callers, asking for someone I don't know and who doesn't live here. Each time I told them to not call again, but the calls keep coming. Extremely frustrating. I jotted down the last two calls:
Fri, Oct. 16, 11:36 am message: “Chris” (hardly intelligible) from “Chase Bank”, asking for someone I don't know, regarding a “financial matter”, message says to call 888-293-5321.
Sat, Oct. 17, 10:45 am “Elisa” from “Chase Card Services” again asking for someone whose name I never heard; I ask for her name and phone number, she gives the number 866-335-9398 and then hangs up.
I googled these numbers and found numerous complaints, smells like a scam. I complained with the Federal Trade Commission. Do not give these people any information.

This scam is still going on. Beware! They got hold of me and I believed them.

Got a call from 847-488-3003 telling me to call 888-293-5321. I won't even give them the time of day after googling the number. Obviously a scammer plot.

Looks like I got the same story line ~ Got the call on my cell from 847-488-3003 and received a voice-mail from JENNIFER (with an East Indian accent) about an important message regarding my ex's joint Chase account (which is closed) and to call back immediately to 888-293-5321.  

I'm glad you guys posted this info because now I know it was a fraudulent call.

This scam is so old!  Why haven't these guys been shut down yet?  I just got a message saying they were from Chase Card Services and to call this number.  I replayed the message several times, not understanding or recognizing any names he said, except Chase, because he had a heavy South Asian or Middle Eastern accent.  I was able to discern the phone number though.  I was a little suspicious as I did not notice any familiar names, but then I got EXTREMELY so when I finally remembered that I don't use that phone number for Chase, or any banking/credit service!  I called Chase to complain, and they took my complaint, but again it seems people have been doing that for a long time now and these scammers are still in existence!  Wtf!

This number is legit.  Received a call on my cell then on my work phone.  Gave them a call back, and they did ask for the info (SS#, Maiden Name, address) but I verified the call again as I grew suspicious and Googled the number 888-293-5231 where I saw these comments.  So I called the number on the official website at 800-432-3117 - (www.chase.com) Chase Card Services and they verified the call was made and the details the guy provided on the previous number were consistent with the details I am hearing from the official number I called.

You guys are too quick to call everyone a "scammer"... and no, I'm not gullible. This number is absolutely confirmed to be legit. I have a relative who gave them my number when applying for 2 cards with them. She is 3 months behind on both of them and they are calling for their money. It is no surprise and I don't blame them for wanting to get paid.

When you don't pay your bills, banks and collection agencies will call you. They use lots of different numbers and calling the original creditor customer service will not often be able to confirm the number you're seeing on your caller ID. This IS NOT by itself indicative of a scam.

Glad I googled this number (888-293-5321)...I keep getting calls ON MY CELL PHONE from (847-488-3003)! From "Lisa" with Chase card services (who by the way also has a HUGE accent) looking for someone named "Emily Brodneck"!  I don't even know a freaking "Emily Brodneck"!  I was going to call the number back and tell them they have the wrong number...but after reading all of this I think I just won't even return the call.  Going to save the number in my phone so I know not to even answer it in the future.  Calling on my CELLPHONE??!?! When will the madness end?

the caller left a message asking for by neighbor (at our business), and ID'd themselves as J. Scott Services, about a personal business matter. They also went so far as to state that this was not a sales or solicitation call. The call was received on a sunday, at 12:30 PM.

Jacqueline called from this number stating she was with "Chase Monitoring Service" called 8:30 am looking for my daughter and called her by first name saying that this was the number she gave them to reach her.   She asked me to give her a message to call them.  Immediately googled the number and ended here.   Sounds like a collection agency or worse a phishing/identify theft scheme.

Voice mail from guy with heavy India accent. Said he was from "Chase Account Services," and it was URGENT that I call him.  Half of what he said I could not figure out what he was saying.  Asked me to call back 888-293-5321.  That number does NOT match the phone number on the back of my Chase credit card, so this is NOT CHASE.  I did not call back.  But I did Google the phone number.

Yeah, like everyone else here a woman with a heavy accent left a message asking for the same info but the name she asked for was slightly off and, no, I don't have a Chase account. Strangely, however, when I called the number back the voicemail DID sound like a legit banking automated voice mail.

I called Chase directly (their customer service phone number from their website) and had them check the legitimacy of this phone number. I was told that it is a legitimate phone number by Chase.
