I got a call today stating the company I work for owed $181,390.41 to US treasury and needed to pay the money by 3/30/12 or they will send a levy. Her name was Jacqueline and her ext was 3627.  She was so rude asking me for my name and title trying to make me feel uncomfortable...This is a total scam!  How US treasury will hire a collection agency? US treasury will go straight to your bank account or will get your taxes or garnish your check just like they do to everybody else. Don't believe this is real.......it's a total scam!

Rec'd two calls in Central TX from a cell phone number Caller ID's as 512-651-9087 (local area code); called and switched to Cameron who gave toll free number 888-310-2006 x 3690; physical location of DCS, Inc seems to be in the Fresno, CA neighborhood.  As an old bill collector, I know skip-tracing when I hear it.  They were looking  for a relative; I sent them down the rabbit hole.  Thx for alerting me that there is some kinda scam here.  Watch out for the cell phone tricks in your neighborhood.

I got a call from this # and told that I MUST send them $248,325 (the amount due on our shrt sale) or make substantial payments OR the US Treasury  will seize all assets.  BEWARE

Received a message from Chris Short at 888-310-2006 ext. 3535.  He stated he was from Performance. I had no idea what that was.  I did a reverse phone check and the number was suppose to belong to Verizon Phone.  I called the number back and operator asked for my acct. number of SS#. I advised I didn't have an account number and did not give out my SS#. She never said a work just rang me to Chris Short's ext.  He was out and asked I leave a message. I just hung up.  Our local news, Channe 4, is doing an in depth expose on calls like this.  They are bogus. A collector called him while he was working the story. They tried to explain that there could be 35 or so persons with the same name and they were calling trying to see if they could  get money for an old debt out of them.  He said to tell them you were taping the call and any further contact would lead to legal action.  I don't plan on speaking with them.  I can always hang up if they get through!

Can you believe this rectal orifice called Christmas Eve, Christmas day, and today? They were very rude, and using threatening language, said they were going to garnish my wages.  You can't do that in Texas.  I do not owe anybody any money, and I do not know the person they are looking for.  As for as I am concerned, this is a debt collecting scam.

I recieved several calls from a lady at this number saying her name was Elizabeth Bergen and her extension was 3746.  She was trying to reach my husband, and when I let her talk to him, she said she was from PRI, a collection agency relating to an OSHA violation that occurred July 19th, 2011, she was saying it was with his previous company that was closed in 2005 and there was no way she could be right about her information.  She wanted over $18000.00 and started blurting out false information pertaining to this.  I am sure this is a scam and feel NO ONE should pay these guys without seeking further advice.  She advised my husband not to get an attorney, and stated it would cost him too much.  That is wrong!  These people need to be stopped!

No way that's going to happen!  These fools are scammers.

SCAM.  DO NOT RETURN THESE CALLS OR PICK UP.  Govt debt is public information and that is where they are getting the names - but trust me, the gov't knows where to find you on there own.  SCAM.  We got a call from a Maureen Camper - would tell us NOTHING.  I work at a public library and know how to DIG DEEP and find information and this is a scam of the worst kind.

We received a call by this number from a so called company called "Performance" by a Candace....She wanted to know my husbands social security number so "she could look up his account"....It's a scam...BEWARE~

Received a phone call from a Tiffany Garcia looking for my son James Curtis.  Said she was from Performance and could not give me any information regarding what the call was for.  The number she called from was a "private" local number 615-340-6009.  The number she left as a return call was 1-888-310-2006 Ext. 3916.  I did not give her any information.

A woman Liola Costa is calling my husband saying that he own money. I tried to get information about what it is about and she said she can not give me any details.
She is calling from this number 888-310-2006 her extension is 3799. She says that the company's name is PERFORMER.
We will not call her. This is a scam.

Someone from 888-310-2006 - "Performance" called my 82 year old mother, told her she owed the government $2,000.00.  They knew her social security number and date of birth so she wound up giving them her bank account # and giving them permission to draft $75.00 out of her account until it's 'paid in full'.  Of course this was bogus but I didn't know until she called me at work, crying, and told me what happened.  I called them back, was routed to a "supervisor" named Pam Holland; got her voice mail with a very lengthy message.  You bet I left her one and my call-back number.  This smells to high heaven!  Wanted to pass this on - forewarned is forearmed!

I work as a receptionist in a dental office, was listening to messages left overnight when all of a sudden I hear a message from Avada Carasca @ Performant, then gave me the number (888)310-2006 x3512, I swear I had to listen to this message like 15 times because she was talking too fast! How do these people get these numbers? This is a business, and my boss will have NO problem investigating this matter! My office manager returned their call and left them a long lengthy message, then they call back and ask for someone we never even heard of! Let them know they was on a recorded line and the conversation ended right there :)

same thing happened to me- same exact thing. Mine was a loan I got to get my business back on track from FEMA - but I ended up going out of business less than a year later - now, every year they tack on another 8k for collection fee and the loan is only 20,000

My neighbor who I use to live by told me he received a message for me from this phone number 1-888-310-2006.ext.2660; the lady he spoke to said her name was Erika Roma, and she was from Performance.   She told him that my phone was turned off and if he could would he give me the message to contact her.

I'm confused about someone contacting a former neighbor to find out if he would take a message for me.  So good people be aware of this phone number and who they are calling.  My former neighbor was not used as a reference for me.
