This is a fraud i checked all numbers on t-mobile but this is not one of them

I just received a bill of $236.63 from T-Mobile, El Dorado Hills, CA  to my address, but with my name misspelled. I do NOT have T-Mobile. This is FRAUD. It says on the bill: Pay by Phone - Call 1.888.310.8471. I googled this number and found other people complaining. This is not right that they can do this. The FBI should stop this.

same thing for me.  Letter in the mail from the El Dorado address and I don't have a phone with them.

Not sure if this is a scam or a third-party collector, but it definitely isn't T Mobile.  If you have a T Mobile balance outstanding, you should call T Mobile at their listed number.

Got letter today appearing to be from T Mobile.  Your T Mobile service is now suspended..blah blah..pay $260.01...call 1-888-310-8471 to pay...blah blah.  Never even had T Mobile service.  Google the number...scam city baby.  Gotta hand it to these thieves..even the bottom portion of the letter is perforated so those believing this to be real could easily tear off, attach payment and resend.   Beware

Hey guys. I have received exactly same letter. I’m pretty sure it’s a spam.I will double check with T-Mobile office though.Just in case. Don’t call them back on the number provided on letter.

I just got a note also from the same exact place for the amount of $658.52 I called T-Mobile previously and they said there was nothing on my account, the balance was paid off but I keep receiving it. I called the number on the paper which is T-Mobile the weird part.

I also got a letter from T-mobile with improper spelling asking to pay a  $150 for a non-existing account. They offer both the option to call 888-310-8471 or send a check to an address that is actually the correct T-mobile billing center "PO box 742596, Cincinnati". They probably assume most people will prefer credit card.

The same thing happened to me. I "had" a T-Mobile account that I closed because I went with another company. I received this letter saying I had an outstanding balance of $207.08 for a temporarily suspended account. My account was not temporarily suspended; it was actually completely closed and when I closed it everything was paid, there wasn't anything outstanding. I was furious and called the # above and was told totally different info than what was in the letter and the total the so-called agent gave was a different amount. A total scam! What can one do? They almost got more money out of me. Thank God at the advice of my husband I didn't send it.

So, instead of calling T Mobile directly you called this number? So you have no idea who you were talking to? Why would you pay them if you knew you  owed nothing? Why would you even think of paying them if you knew you owed nothing?

I switched carriers from T-mobile in May, and received a final bill from T-mobile with everything shown as $0.0 balance.  I just received a bill in the mail today for $404.07 "past due" and threatening collection.  The number to call to pay was indicated as 888-310-8471.  I saved the letter and envelope and will likely forward to the FBI. I believe there is somebody inside T-mobile that's selling information on customers canceling service to scammers.  I did let them know after they charged me for a full month of service when I used 8 days, that I felt it was theft.  I think I probably pissed them off as much as they pissed me off, so maybe this is their way of retaliating.  Just a little suspicious.

Same thing/ a letter with a balance of$290. Oddly says T-Mobile service is suspended, but call this number as they will take e-check, Visa, etc. lists a web address that is bogus. A po box in  Cincinnati to mail a check. Came in the mail(Mail Fraud! Federal offense!). The phone number -1-888-310-8471 answers with the t-mobile rings, (creepy!), then a person asks for your phone number and SS#, as it must be a fraud(THEY SAID)- I.e, someone used my SS# to try to open an account. Yeah, right.  Ultimately, I hung up. How is it not possible for FBI to trace this number and make arrests????

I got a letter in the mail. Saying I have an outstanding balance of $510.00 with t-mobile. I called the number the letter provided and an Indian guy answered and asked for my account number in the bill, “looked it up” and I said I don’t even have an account with t-mobile and then he asked me to just disregard the letter. No further questions etc and he seemed pretty anxious to get off the phone with me. I asked for his name and he said “Angelo” (yeah right) and then I asked for a callback number and I was given 18009378997. I waited and called the initial number back and surprisingly the same guy answered again?? Weird.

Got letter from T mobile, saying I owe 392.52. I don’t have T mobile never have.

I received a bill in the mail in the mail and I am an old customer but I was shocked to receive a bill.  I did call the number to see and the recording even sounded different.  I started drilling the girl that finally answered the phone but did not provide any information to her and blocked my number.  She couldn't give me any direct answers.  This makes me sick.

Ok so, hahahaha yeah this one's a fraud, 187,50... Never actually had t mobile! and t mobile would get my money from my bank and not through a bill! Oh well, my fault for giving my stolen information around I guess.

Got a call last week saying I owed money and now a paper bill. I have auto pay so didn't send money. Checked this number and found this. I will block the number on my phone, but I think I will report it to our Attorney General office. This is a scam. I wonder how many people have been bullied into paying for something by this?

It must be from the people who work for these telephone companies.  I was on the phone with Sprint/T-Mobile and the Next day I got a robo call from "Tmobile" stating I owe $94 and when the call was ignored, the NEXT day I got a bill in the mail for $190 saying that my account is at risk of closing due to late payments.  I found this to be stranger Especially because I JUST got off the phone with Sprint 2 days ago and now all these bills pop up out of nowhere.  Its Definitely the ppl "helping" on the phone that are doing these scams and most of the time they are not located in the US so its free game for them smh.

I am currently on the phone with them prentending to pay ! From why I am reading this is definitely a scam . Don’t be fooled . CALL 611 if anything
