My son got a call from this number, they id'd themselves as USC, I asked them who they were and they said they were a law office and two charges were being filed, in regards to an online loan that he got a year ago. They said he needed to pay $1200 or court papers would be served tomorrow. They knew our address and also knew where he works.. I called them back and spoke to a lady, she seemed to intentionally garble her name, did not speak w/ an accent, just spoke very fast and much was unintelligible. . .asked me to verify last 4 digits of SSN, which I did not do, but she said she already had the number, and it was his correct SSN. I'm going to call her back tomorrow and ask for something in writing, and also their address. . .
