I got q call from this number claiming that to be in collections and that i owe a medical bill that i know is not mine. When i asked them to send me more information, they hung up on me.

Today (Feb 4) I got the same call.  The caller said that I owed Medical Diagnostics of America over $300.00, and that my account was now in collections.  Supposedly, I have owed money since 2017.  I checked, and there is no Medical Diagnostics of America!

I got a call from this number on February 1st said they was from Medical Diagnostics of America and I owed a bill from 2017 in the amount of 368 and some change. And wanted me to pay over the phone and I told them That I didn't pay any bills over the phone and they asked if I could just pay the 68 and some change to bring it down to 300. I told them NO because I did not know if they was a legit company, then he got quiet. I hung up on them and called my doctors office and told them about it and they said that it sounded like a scam. Haven't had a call from them again.

Just got a call. Same speel.  Fictitious lab “known nationwide” $300 to settle today. Informed him we had Medicare and secondary ins. I called BS on this and demanded paperwork. Got the hang up.

Got the same call Monday, 2-4-19 asking for $323.81 for same Medical Diagnostics since 3/2017.  No such service done at that time.  When asking to have copy of bill sent to me, they hung up.

Received call today saying I had a past due bill from 11/2017 for lab work done.  When questioned for further information  I was told they couldn't give me any due to Hippa.  They couldn't  give me any info re where labs were done or who the doctor was who ordered them.  After some  research by calling both hospitals in my area and going to my insurance website and looking through my EOB I found I had no outstanding balances on anything.. I called back the number and the representative who I spoke to got rather nasty with my questions and said he was going to send an invoice via email and then he terminated the call because he said he was busy.

Received a call today saying that I owed for medical tests I never had done.

They said they were from a collection agency for medical lab, that the call was being recorded and I owed 398.00...was I aware of this? I said no and that I would call my doctor and I hung up. This is a scam.

They told me I owned $398 for medical bill, I told them that is not possible, I'm in the military there's no way I will get medical bill.

I just received a call stating I owe medical diagnostics of America $300 for a bill from 4/2017. I pressured that I wanted proof of the bill and the person told me I would ruin my credit and take it up with the credit bureau and hung up. When I call the 800# back it states to send an email to soatech@gmail.com

I received a call stating I owed a "small" bill to Diagnostics of America for lab work done in 2017. I asked how much,thinking it was $25-50  It was supposedly 356 & change. I said you consider that a small bill? The caller said yes compared to some of our other bills. I told them any lab work I was charged for was paid.. I was told the company would have no record since it was turned into collections. I told them I was not paying it. They said they were turning it into the credit bureau.

Interesting scam! I received a call last Thursday, February 7th stating that I owed a diagnostics company $300 ish for lab work not covered! I SAVE all my medical bills/insurance, NOTHING! I called back Friday and left a message,  no call back from them to date!

I received a call from this number and they said they were calling about an outstanding bill from Medical Diagnostics of America. When I asked where he was calling from, he said Oregon. I questioned why he was calling me in Canada. He said he was sorry and must have wrong number but called me by my name.

I am a social worker.   A client called saying a Steve Miller from 888-317-1405 called .   She was told she owed $355.15 for Medical Diagnostics of America, Medical Lab Services of Austin Tx.   Date of service was 4/1/17.   The license number of the doctor was given.   No such doctor license, no such lab.   She had no labs that day or any day there abouts.    She offered to settle for $300.   I attempted to contact Mr. Miller but got no response from his colleague...or "partner in crime".

Just got the same phone call stating that I owed the same amount as you all mentioned - 300.00+ so I repeatedly demanded that they send a bill and they hung up.
