I received an e-mail from someone named Stephanie Anderson with Media Gather Inc. and phone number 1-888-317-2489 or 1-888-687-2668 fax about a job.  I'm curious if this is legit.  I can not find Media Gather Inc. anywhere

I also received an email, and am wondering the same thing. This is my email:

• Keeping track of merchant, supplier and business relationships to include reconciling and controlling invoices.
• Supervising calendars for two senior managers/dept. heads.
• Answering phones/directing calls (minimal duty).
• Any other tasks as designated.

i have a feeling this is a scam.

I live in Nevada. I noticed the email was from rozellametelko@yahoo.co.uk. The "uk" part made me suspicious. I think our answer is this is spam :(

I too got this email. I thinks its a scam. I just received it this morning. If you notice her name isn't spelled correctly in the "from" section and the reply to email is different from UK one as well. I'm from central California so I doubt they would be bringing in people from across the country! Good luck in your real job searches everyone!

Me too.  I live in St. Louis, MO.  And my message says the base salary is 37K!

And I'm from Michigan and received the same email. lol only mine was only going to pay $38k a yr, the scammer were going to underpay me! :) Happy Job hunting everyone!

I live in Arizona and got the same email this morning.  Mine was base pay $41.  If we all got the same email must be scam.

it's fake... look at her email, it's yahoo.co.uk

meaning she's outside of the US and it's a scam... probably to steal identity or steal money. Don't do the survey, don't do anything but delete that email.

I am in Tennessee and got the same email offering 40K.  Has to be a scam!

Got the same message and I live in Atco, New Jersey...didn't do survey!  I hate craigslist such a scam! Glad I googled the phone number and saw this e-mail thread!

Any type of email that you recieve for a job shouldn't post a link for you to go enter your information or to submit an iq test or credit check. Also there is others that want you to reply back with your information along with your address.. especially the ones that say they are out of the country and they need you to errands for them  blah blah blah they are all scams!!! Most jobs will call you.. if not ask them for a number or have them call you.. dont fall for these please!

Add me to the list of recipients of this email, identical to the ones you all received!  I'm in Charlotte, NC.  This was the most legitimate sounding one yet.  Glad I took the time to look up Mediagather.com to find out it was a scam.

I'm in Baltimore and was actually kind of depressed to find this list...but at least I'm not the only one.  Scammers offering $41k sounds pretty good to an unemployed graduate...

I got the same email as others posted here.  It seems to be an affiliate who gets paid for getting you to take the survey and accept offers to redeem for your $500 check. I hope these people burn with Hitler, for preying on legit job seekers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And shame on them also for using the elderly to suck you in!!! They say they are with Elder Care.

Got the same email responding to the ad. Did NOT complete the survey. SCAM. Too bad, I really need the job.
