ID indicates "800 Service" with the number 888-317-7258.  I usually don't answer because they always hang up, except I was checking out other numbers on this website and typed the number in while it was ringing.  I answered and there was a long pause before someone came on the phone.  They said they were calling on behalf of Deluxe Checks and Nebs.  They were offering a free website check by one of their professionals to see if they could find anything on our company website that we might need to "fix".  What kind of scam is that???  I told him I wasn't interested.  I have done business with both companies many times in the past and have NEVER received a phone call from either one.  I usually go to their website and do my check ordering direct.  So, I am pretty sure that this was not actually the real companies but someone looking for a way to hack our company files somehow!

I recently reorder checks from Deluxe Checks.  I used my cell phone to place the order - which i usually never do - usually use our office phone to conduct business.  Guess what - I am getting calls - no one speaks - during the day on my cell phone.  I passed info to Deluxe today.  If that is how they do business, maybe I should switch to another company.  4/02/09 FRS

When I called the number back (888-317-7258) I got a message about a website service company. I too am a NEBS customer. I called NEBS and they claim they do not sell their customer info. This means only one of three things, they are lying, they have been hacked or this is coming from in house. My relationship with NEBS ended this morning.

888-317-7258 is a legitimate phone number, belonging to Dynamics Marketing, Inc, located in ND that provides services to Deluxe and Nebs. We contact Deluxe customers on Deluxe's behalf to provide awareness about other divisions and services Deluxe offers. Specifically we were calling your company to tell your company about Deluxe's new Website services product. Deluxe hosts over 300,000 websites for small businesses and we were excited to tell you about their new services. Deluxe's new services can be seen on www.deluxehosting.com

Our organization does not remarket or share your information with others, we simply provide the service to Deluxe and NEBs.

We apologize for not speaking to you when we called you. It is not our intent to hang up after making a call and thus we have adjusted our dialer settings.

They've been calling every day for about a week now.  I get either dead air or hangup.

Don't place marketing calls to cell phones, it's bad business.

Well the adjustments don't work!  Just got a call 10 minutes ago and no one there.  Cease & Decist

How about just not calling?  I would never purchase anything from anybody over the phone unless I initiated the call.  And on my cell, if I don't know you I don't answer.  Thank goodness.  This number has called me three or four times in the past week.  I will not be answering the phone.

Calls my cell phone several times a week - almost once a day- does not leave messages and then hangs up when I answer.  I heard a women's voice then a hang up.  Stop calling people to hang up or leave a message.

I'm getting these calls too with the same hangups and/or no messages. Obviously Deluxe STILL hasn't changed their dialing setup.  I agree, our company won't do business with Deluxe anymore either, very poor business practices.  Seems to be the general consensus that they're loosing customers.

Just received a call from this number and they hung up when I answered. They seriously need to fix this. I am not a customer of Deluxe Checks or NEBS or whatever. And this is annoying and useless.

Calls and hangs up.  I too am a recent Deluxe Checks customer, I'm confident this is why I'm getting these calls.

Just received a hangup on my cellphone from this number. Filed complaint with Federal Do Not Call list and complained to Deluxe.

call left on my answering machine, caller said hello twice but gave no other information. i was not familiar with the number, this call is unwanted, no more computer generated calls please

Called - but left no message - called back no answer - entered them as a "NO" in my cell phone so I can send them directly to voice mail next time.

Same issues as others above.  No one was there when I answered.  This is just plain irritating and unprofessional if they can't get it fixed.

as far as i could tell.... perhaps they gleamed off my internic registration and are posing as the host, you never know
