Called my landline today and left a message on my answering machine. Said the call was for [my name] from "Omar at the extended business office". He asked me to call him back at 888-318-0025 ext 303. I don't plan to call him unless I find out more info.

They completely mispronounced mine and my husbands names on the message, and ours are not uncommon names! It was a woman though, she spoke too quickly to catch a name, she left the same number but a different extension.

They have called me without leaving a name or using my name, telling me to call 1-888-318-0025. They identified themself as a number and didn't know our names. I'm wondering if it is some kind of scam. Also, the message has been left several times.

I called back these jerks and it is a creditor used by medical billing services. Their auto-dialer just plain doesn't work.

I am not sure if they have actually stolen my information or if it is a legitimate bill. I called and pressed "0" to speak to the operator, you can try that. I would recommend not paying them directly, I am going to call the hospital that is claiming I owe them money instead.

I got a message with this number saying "this is a message for" and then some long number.  I already know that Extended Business Office is a creditor.

This is a legitimate number.  They are calling to collect medical debt.  It took me a year and a half to pay off an unexpected ER visit, and one of the ladies there, Theresa, used to call me on the first of each month to check with me BEFORE deducting my payment.  She was very nice and accommodating, so hope this helps.

It was a collection agency called Extended Business Office Services in connection to a medical bill of mine. Very courteous and patient as collection people go (at least in my case).

They are late bill collectors for various hospitals and other medical services. I answered the phone and they were helpful from preventing my bill to go to "collections" because it had been paid. They waited for the payment and saved me some trouble.
Just make sure when they call you, they give YOU all the information like your address etc., amount due, who it's for etc. Don't volunteer any private information about yourself until you feel confident they are who they say they are. AND NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
    Hope this helps

Looked up the number and foud this address on Google for a website: http://www.agrussconsumerlaw.com/debt-collection-agencies-phone-numbers/ and saw that "Extended Business Office" is the actual name of a debt collector, but unsure as to what type of debts. Found some posts saying its for medical bills, which makes sense. They were looking for my daughter but called my house, though. Won't get too far collecting money when using the wrong info!

I ignored this call a few weeks ago as they didn't identify themselves properly. The call went through YouMail (my phone filtering service). I thought it was possibly real as I had a couple of outstanding bills from doctor visits. I immediately paid the bills directly to the organizations I used. Today I got the second call that "more" properly identified themselves as the Extended Billing Office of El Camino Hospital. I gather this is a debt collection agency for medical offices. It's hard to get upset with this one as it was my fault for not paying. I originally thought my insurance should cover more but I had not met my deductible. If I would have paid it, they wouldn't be calling. But now, their records are not up to date.

This company called me looking for someone possibly using my name and living in a different city. The called and immediately asked for my Date of Birth but I didn't give it out. They had not identified themselves very well. I asked her if they were a bill collector and she said, "yes". My advise is to ask them what address they are reviewing instead of offering ANY person information such as date of birth and your true address.

i am called every week by this number. i received a call from pam from extended services to pay an outstanding medical bill. however, that bill was paid off within the last month, so i should not be receiving calls from anyone. if you're unsure about this number, call the hospital directly.
