I receive calls from this line every day- it is always someone with an accent stating that I owe them money

They claim to be calling from a law office and if i don't return the call they will take futher action.....They call me @ work several times a day and I've told them before not to call that I've already spoke with someone. From my knowledge it is against the law to use scare tactics.. The only time I use Ace is when I use to cash my check there. I have told them several times before they are mistaken but they continue to call. I've even filed a police for identy theft because right before i started getting these calls, i went to get my renewed driver's license and they would not allow be to get it without filling some paperwork because they said I had a lisence in Florida and I've never been to Florida..

Look under the website for Fair Debt Collection Practice Act.  It states all the laws about collection agencies calling and bill collectors calls what they should and should not do. And your rights as a consumer where if you ask them to stop calling they should and if they don't you can actually file a claim against them along with a police report. I also suggest that you file a report with your Attorney Generals office, BBB, Federal Trade Commission all of the above, next time they call if you don't already have it ask for their address or either find it off the website, write them a cease and disist letter to stop calls, mailing it by certificated mail, or fed x for a signature that they received it.  This is your proof that you did sent them something in writing about the calls. If you do owe money to these people also state that in the letter, ex: vertify that you know you may owe them and to send you a debt validation letter of proof of amount owed.  Let them know they would have 30 days from the date of the letter you send to validate the debt. If you don't here anything, so be it. Next time they call tell who ever you speak with that you sent a letter to stop calling and this person signed for it you had 30 days to reply and you didn't and next time they call consult a consumer attorney, Kimmel and Silverman are very good lawyers in cases such as this.  I believe they fight hard. As long as they had correct information their work hard on your case. Trust me they do.

recorded message asking for a name I couldn't quite make out- but wasn't mine, and then to call back at the 888 322 1895 number. The number on the caller ID was 918 442 9115.

foreign accent male left a message on my cell to call this number 888-322-1895, no other info, just for me to call this number back. have no idea who they are.

Got a call  at my work at the courthouse wanting me to call them back, who in the heck is Ace checking co.

Called this Fk** number and a Scott answered say ACE.  who is ACE checking, say I owe money?
