Have been getting calls from this number for months now. They call when I am not home, and leave empty messages on my answering machine. Sometimes a message has a background noise but never a person.

I got an empty message too. I am on the do not call list.

I just got a call from this number and they said they're sending me a packet about security stuff for the credit card discover. So I called them back and they said they were discover although I'm not sure I believe them.

Been getting these calls on my home phone for 3 months now. They never leave a message. All I ever hear when I pick up is background noise.

I've looked this one up online. It is Discover Card.  They give lists of their cardholders phone numbers to telemarketing companies. These companies then call you to try to sell you Credit Card protection etc.  They have actually been sued by some people because of the "do not call" violations. One guy just got $19,000!

Been getting calls from this number at least every other day, usually between 4:00 and 6:00 pm. No one ever answers.

Two calls on 03/18/007, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.  No message, nobody there when I picked up.  Used *69 and tried automatic callback, but was told the number was unavailable.

I have been getting these calls for several weeks now. Thank goodness I have Caller ID because I don't answer. I am also on the do not call list. After reading these I don't plan to answer either.

I have been getting calls from this number for over 2 months now and the same as everyone else...no one is on the phone, just silence. I am extremely tired of it.  

Thursday, March 22, 2007 - received call at 8:55 pm (!) from (888) 322-2785; dead air, no message; have been receiving calls from this number, in the evenings, for the past couple of days.  Tracing it on "Google" led me to this page.   We do have a "DISCOVER" card, so maybe that is where the call is coming from.   It must be Discover's last gasp, most reputable companies have given up cold calls at 9:00 pm at night...

About 6 months ago we were constantly getting calls from this number and we would never answer them. Now they have started again. We are on the no call list, but that does'nt seem to make a difference. We recieve a call early in the day and one at night. When they first started I tried to track it down, with no luck.
After they started again we went to google and found this site. Now I'm going to call Discover card and let them know that I'll drop them if the calls keep coming in.

I have been getting the same calls from this same number. I get 2 calls a day every day of the week,but Sunday. I won't answer is as I have caller id, so it shows the number. This has been going on for about a month  now. You would think they would stop calling if they get no answer.

This number calls me every two hours or so every day for over a month now.  No one leaves a message and I do not pick up.  I'm on a do not call list, but this number has been a menace.  Please disconnect it!!!

I usually have from 5-9 calls about every other day from this number when I get home from work.  So tonite I decided to answer the phone from this number, and I could hardly understand this man, he said he was calling from Mastercard, but he sounded like he couldn't talk, maybe sick or [***], then he said something about being in rehab-he then said something about not having a tumor-I hung phone up.

I keep getting the same phone calls and it`s driving me nuts..I try to call the number back and the message says enter pass code..What in Gods name can we ddo to stop this ???
