A couple days ago, I received a call from this number. They left a voice mail saying they were going to go ahead a commence litigation against me if I did not call the number back by 3pm that day. The call was fishy in that they did not immediately identify themselves at the beginning of the call and they referred to some rather outdated information about me. Has anyone else received such calls from this number?

I received a call from the same number.  They called my boss and said they were going to serve me.  However, after talking to local sheriff's department I discovered they knew nothing about it.  The calls stopeed for a few weeks but started again, but this timer said they needed information name, address, and work place so they could process complaint on bad checks.  I spoke with my bank and there is nothing to it.  I had to file a police repot to get it stopped and get an attorney involved.

Man called my mom's number.  Left a message on her voicemail.  Identified himself as Bill Brooks.  Said that he was trying to get in touch with my daughter.  Told me that he was sending someone out to serve her for check fraud. I have no idea what they are talking about.  What do I do, I can't not afford to lose my job over this craziness.

Has anyone actually been served? I received the same call, tried calling and was transferred all over the place. Finally had to hang up.

when you got an attorney, did they find out the exact name of this company? i have an attorney working for me for the same thing they call my job and i work for a corporation and family that isn't even family any more ex parents etc, looking for me. i called them and they just say office of progressive but there is nothing on them and they wont mail or email me any info. i need to know what their exact name is if you know please! thank ytou
