- Alyssa| 3 repliesThis is SSM Hospital Patient Accounts billing - they are calling regarding a bill you have with an SSM doctor.
- john replies to Alyssa| 1 replyI got a prior call from SSM when I was driving and I was rude - I apologize for that. I explained to the caller that you will get paid when I get the money and hung up on him. Now - Sorry I didn't save in advance for my emergency room visit. I will be getting paid at end of month and see what I can pay at that point. If you didn't charge so much I could pay it off completely right now.
- PaulMuch agreed with you!! I wouldn`t apologize..................... just send another bill!! I didn`t answer the phone when they called! I make payments just like everyone on this earth!!! They will get there money in time!!!!

- Michelle replies to johnI agree.I was also confused because I received 2 bills nearly the same amount, and didn't realize one was the ER doctor and one was the ER visit. I paid off the first one in full, so when I got the second bill I ignored it because I thought it was the same thing. I set up an arrangement to make installments, and after the first payment they never sent me another bill so I forgot. now 8 months later they have collections calling me. I also put my husband, who's name is on the insurance, as the responsible party with his phone number, but they always call me and never him.
- Scammed| 1 replySSM is a scam! They make stuff up to get your insurance money and your cash. I wouldn't take my dog to them! They call everyday and they are not satisfied with what I can pay. They want more! Well SSM I hope you choke on your money and your Doctors are nothing more than scam artists. You give good medical care facilities a bad name!

- Shiloh| 2 repliesI send $50 per bill, per month. Never miss. They still call me every day asking if i can send more. "Have i missed one month sending you $50 per bill per month?" no. "So why are you calling me?:, 'Well, we want to set up a payment plan". BUT....I am paying by a payment plan, MY payment plan. Am I passed due?. no. Am i paying on time? yes. Then what is this phone call about " Well we want you to commit to OUR payment plan". Mam, I pretty much have proved I pay in good faith. Do not cal me again unless I am passed due, as far as my bank tells me, you have not problem accepting the payments I send every single month on time.

- Slap the sticky fingers replies to ShilohStick with your plan. I have no bills set up for automatic withdraw from account, or credit card. What you have to go through these days when something goes wrong. No thanks. I get the bill, I pay the bill. There's a great system. As you say, MY system.
- Jds replies to ShilohI have the same issue. My MRI bill was $1300 and i put myself on a 6 mo payment plan and have 3 payments left. I dont need to discuss it with you-i obviously pay. Call block!
- RoniI also pay monthly. At times twice monthly, still get the calls....way to frequently. When they leave a message, the recording starts after they have identify themselves...

- CT2020If this is SSM, let me tell you about this place. Had a ER visit. I’m laying in bed hooked up to an IV, an EKG, doctors in there, nurses. In comes a lady with a clipboard wanting “copay” payment. I kindly asked her where I pay when I’m done here I’d be glad to. She then tells me “pay me now”. So with all the wires hooked up I dig out my billfold and pay her. Then 1 week later I get a bill for about $2000 and I know it hasn’t went through insurance yet. Then the next week the phone calls start. Finally I get a bill for $154 and I immediately paid it. Looks like they are still trying to get that $2000 out of me. Given a choice I certain will visit a different ER.
