I am an exhibit manager for our company and these types of companies are non-official housing bureaus. I hate that they leave a message that sounds like it has something to do with my exhibit....very frustrating because no matter how many times I remove my #, they call anyways.

Unsolicited call - for GDC SF. Caller's name was Mindy. x 211. Did not identify her company or reason for calling.

These guys are smooth.  They leave a message saying that they are calling you regarding a show or meeting your company is participating in.  They never mention a name of a company, just the official name of the event you are attending.  The message they left me even said "I need you to call me."  They did everything possible to make it seem as though the caller was representing the show my company is involved with.   How can that possibly work to gain customers?  Are people really that stupid that they would do business with someone who tried to trick them????

On the afternoon of August 23, 2010, i received a voicemail message from a caller who identified herself as "Petra."  She mentioned her call was in regards to a future event my company is particiapting in.   She asked that i call her back at 888-333-0474, ext. 226.  

According to the header information of the voicemail message, the originating number is 702-851-0250. I did a reverse look-up on this number.  It belongs to Hdmc Group LLC, of Las Vegas, NV, a hotel & motel reservation service.  

I didn't call her back. My company makes its own reservations. I knew she was fishing for business.

Andy from ATS / HDMC keeps calling me about booking room for the Miami Boat Show - and he is most persistent!  We are thinking about maybe using them since the rates seem good, but are hesitant as to whether they are legitimate.

This is a phone number for HDMC / ATS / ADV Travel. They have tried to cheat me out of $2500.00+ I have reported to FBI and Local Law Enforcement. Do NOT trust anyone from HDMC / ATS or ADV Travel in Las Vegas or Bellevue WA. I got ZERO from them… They took my money and ran… No response to 8+ emails over 2 weeks and 3 different phone lines became busy 24-7 or disconnected.

Same as above - i got scammed out of $1500!!!

I found out through the public records that the owner of the company got ripped off by a Bryan Griggs, Valerie Griggs and A Referral service.  go to clark county court record and search for HDMC Vs Bryan Michael Griggs. All the information is there and is very interesting reading.  It must suck when you trust your Chief Financial Officer and they steal from you.  I hope justice prevails and they get back on their feet. They are suing several people and so far the courts have ruled in their favor.  I was given my money back from my credit card company (Thank God) but I actually feel sorry for these people. My Rep was Tom King and he always gave me great service and great rates.  Good Luck HDMC Group! my heart goes out to you!

If you want to follow up on the post look up the number for the Nevada Attorney General yourself (it is on the website I linked), DO NOT call the number just posted.  While you are speaking with the REAL Nevada Attorney General's office, let them know about this post.  If the real attorney general learns that someone is pretending to be them, I don't think they are going to be very happy about it.  I haven't bothered to look up Nevada law, but I am pretty sure impersonating this official is going to be a fairly serious felony.

Perhaps someone was a little too smart for their own good?
