I am sorry that happened to you. But what I found out after careful investigation is that Modus Link is affilliated with several different companies particularly television infomercials. If you somehow placed an order for an infomercial product the transaction could have went through Modus Link and take a few days to be processed. Call the company and dispute the transaction or cancel it and then wait a few days and call the bank to release the funds back to your account. They cannot do so until they have seen the transaction was cancelled and the company has not taken the money and then they will release the funds. It usually takes about 6 days. Hope this helps.

Was confused by a charge from this company appearing on my credit card bill. I searched my emails for MODUSLINK and found that they are the fulfillment company that Microsoft uses to ship media. I ordered a DVD set for a MSFT product and the charge came through as MODUSLINK.

I've done some research and, as mentioned above, they are fulfillment company.  I got this charge as well and it appears they charged me on behalf of Leap Motion.  If you've done any pre-ordering of similar products that may be the case for you as well.

    Best of luck.

Thank you Discovery! replies to Discovery
Was driving me nuts trying to understand what the charge on my credit card from this company could be for.  I was about to dispute the charge online at American Express, but pulled up this thread ala Google.  I too have a LEAP motion device on pre-order, looking forward to receiving.  Thanks for taking the time to post what you found out.

Another Leap Motion preorder -- ditto thanks on posting this!

    Seems to be LeapMotion
Definitely seems to be Leap Motion, they mentioned the push back date to July 22 (tomorrow) for shipping preorders. Makes sense why it is being charged now. More comments and visits to here for those that thought their CC might be compromised!

I was about to dispute this charge from Moduslink as well, but saw Scott's comments above that his updated GPS was charged through Moduslink -- which I realize is our case too.  Thanks, Scott!

it was 162.41 for my Acura navigation CD for the car.

This was NAVTEQ charging me for a navigation system map update.  So, that's another possibility.

Those dumble-[***] really should TELL one that the "Charge will appear as....blah blah blah" when one places the order.  But of course, they don't.  Dumb-sh-ts.

This appears to be a third party Credit Card processing company. I ordered a update for my Acura's Navigation system and this is the company that appeared on my Credit Card for that transaction.

My discover bill had a charge from HERE NO AMER MODUSLINK. I disputed the charge listed at $169.59 from with Discover and finally they got back to me today. In their opinion, the charge appeared to be legit. I racked my brain, but still couldn't figure out what the heck I'd ordered!

So I searched  "HERE NO AMER MODUSLINK"

My search brought me to a number of sites and I choose this one. After coming to this site, I realized I bot a CD to update my GPS - thanks to others on this site who posted the results of their searches. I now know - it really was a legitimate charge.

We were concerned too by the billing, but it was a navigation update purchased through GMC.

I also thought it might be fraudulent but due to other people posting, I realized it was the Ford navigation system update we bought.  The update was no good but my husband insisted on it.  Next time I'll save my money and save up for an after market nav system.
