    I tried calling Discover which has the phone number 888-333-5804 (accidentally calling 800 instead of 888).  It was a scam.  They wanted me to give them a dollar on any card "to cover shipping and handling" on a $100 gift certificate to Walmart and some other to-good-to-be- true prizes.  
    Then they accused me of racism when I told them it sounded like a scam (because it was obviously a call center in India).  I asked for the manager and instead he gave me a phone number that I looked up and is also a scam.  
    I called Discover and reported the experience.  Hopefully they will send the fraud dept out for them.
