What a bunch of bull.  Supposedly the "taped" recording threatened that I was going to be arrested by the IRS.

This Number is CONNECTED TO THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE-DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY  SCAM...... These  Foreigners call telling you that there is a warrant out for your arrest.  THAT you have an error your 2009-20014 tax returns and unless u  deposit into their Bank Of America account via a credit card into this account # 345986114 they are going to arrest you...DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!!

I got this call saying there was a warrant issued, I needed to call this number. I called it, the person who answered the phone could barely speak english, then kept telling me that she called me. If this is the IRS you people come arrest me and then we will talk in english.

Relax, Dyann.  It's a scam, but you probably already knew or at least suspected as much.  Block the number and make it your policy to never answer calls from persons you don't know or numbers you don't recognize.  Here's some info on the scam:

Totally fake, ignore and block. And the IRS is not open on the weekend.

Same here. I owe  close to 6000 dollars.  I will settle for 2965. They are sending tje officer for my arrest

just tell them you will call the IRS and verify yourself they quickly hang up

Just called and yelled at them.. They know my Name. and wanted to know where i was employed. Told the woman I was not giving her that information, That i knew this was all a scam I was sending them a dime and to stop calling me. After she tried to verify my name again and I yelled some choice words and repeated that i wasn't going to pay them anything she hung up. Now I will prob get 10 calls a day
