I received the same call from a "Tom Johnson" about changes to reverse mortgage laws. Told him I was not interested and hung up. He said he was with ING but it might have been ENG.

This number calls me on my home phone, every day or every other day, sometimes several times a day. At one point I saw them on my phone account call log online, at 2 a.m., although I didn't hear the phone ring at that time. Perhaps they started the call, then disconnected the call before it could ring through. This makes me wonder if it is an overseas scam, and they forgot about the time difference. I called this number to have my number removed from their calling list. A young English speaking woman (sounded American) answered. I told her that she needed to remove me from their calling list, that they called too frequently, that my number was unlisted. I said that if they now called me after my telling them I wanted to be removed from their calling list, I would file a complaint against them. She just kept saying "Okay, okay, okay." I thanked her and hung up.  Their calls stopped for perhaps 3 or 4 days, and have now started again - three in a row within a matter of two minutes today. I have them blocked so they can't ring through to voicemail, but I resent having to do that, and having my privacy violated by these people.

Do they really think they're going to sell what they're trying to, scammers or not, by being obnoxious and harassing people who obviously don't want to talk to them, with multiple phone calls per day? Or is it that once they realize you won't speak to them, they have some sick pathological need for revenge and to harass, and they just keep calling, knowing they're not going to sell you anything?

Receive calls from this number 888-336-3476 -left message said name was Tom and he ws calling regarding a reverse mortgage.

Caller said she was calling about my reverse mortgage, wanting to let me know I that I was eligible for more financing based on my home's value having increased. When I said I didn't have an account with her company (ENG Bank) or a reverse mortgage, she said she was reaching out to local seniors. When I told her that I'm too young to be considered a "senior," she asked if I'd had any recent dealings with FHA. I told her to remove me from her list, and that I considered the call harassment because this number has been on my missed call list over 8 times in the last 3 days with no message left.
