I got a call from this number, 88 353 4880 stated their a united pre litigation firm, supposedly the name of their business which by the way, they wouldnt tell me any info on. Their was a woman on the phone she asked for 490, said for pdl ventures, I found that their a company no longer exist. Then I said do you have a website, she said yes hold on, then said she pass to a manager who give more info. He then said that he has no info they cant be found on the web. He said he has corp number for PDL ventures and wouldnt provide it, and if i dont pay their taking me to court. I been looking up this company no number for PDL ventures.... Some company said they closed down or they went ways.

I'm getting the same calls for the same company. What was the outcome of all of this for you Mar? Did anything come of it? They gave me a case number, but no extension or who to call.

I received the same call a while ago and I just passed it off as a bill collector. Well they told me about being arrested. i ended up going to court, and now they are garnishing my wages. It is real. My only advice is to pay your bill before u end up like me. Totally teed off.

the person above is COMPLETELY lying and probably from the company! it IS  a bill collector and they can't take you to court over a payday loan...not legal.  These people claim to be a law firm but they are SO not.  If they are in litigation as claiming they wouldn't be trying to collect like a collection agency...they are completely unprofessional and can't provide any paperwork to support their words...don't be scared into paying them anything over the phone. Got a call from Brian Nichols saying he was an attorney and I had to pay 470 dollars plus 30 dollars fee for paper work,so the total was $500 due now....They called my work and threated to serve me and bring the sherriff to arrest me...Are they for real?I called back and asked for the website and they told me all sites were down beacuse of the sand storms in Arizona!!I asked them for the address as I will be in Arizona and i will come buy and pay them so I could see the court paper that they said they mailed out month ago...I asked them to resend and they said they couldnt,i said fax and theysaid they couldnt fax them..I guess they are collecting from Arrowhead Financial a Payday loan place.Are they for real?

My sister received a call from this firm looking for me. They threatened her that if she didnt tell them where I was at that they were going to put a warrant out for me and arrest me. FOR    WHAT??????? I tried to locate this firm,,,,,,no luck. Its like they are a ghost.

By law, a collection agency needs to advise you of the debt in writing and you have thirty days to dispute the debt.  You can not be arrested. You can send a cease and desist letter.  A legal firm would provide you that information immediately.  If you truly owe the debt and it does go to litigation, you have rights to dispute in court.  What this company is doing is totally against the law.  Fair debt act.  They should read it.  They will not give you any info because they are a bottom feeding agency.  Wrong. yes....illegal TOTALLY.  If you find out where they are, call the police in that jurisdiction.  I called the police and FTC with the phone number provided.  They can be in serious trouble.

I also think that Jasmine probably works for this "company". If they actually do serve you with papers, which they probably won't there is no way that a judge is going to give a judgment to a company that is operating illegally and violating FDCPA.  Two things-if you actually are going to be served, they just find where you are be it your home or place of business and serve you, they don't notify you beforehand. Also, before a creditor can garnish your wages, they need a writ of judgment. Don't be intimidated by these illegally operating scum. Learn your rights!

Received call from 855-213-4013. Claimed to be from UCG Firm Litigation. Said she would be by to serve court papers. For what??! She couldn't tell me why, just to serve papers.

United phone number is 1-888-567-1473 ext 311 for RUBY. I originally said I could pay on 8/30/13 not realizing the holiday so the funds will not show til Tuesday since of the long holiday weekend. I live in  MI my credit union is never open on Saturdays. This Ruby has called several times harassing and threatening me with court papers even though I am unemployed with no income until I start work again at the end of the month. The 160.36 will be deposited in my checking account on the 3rd. I use to work for a lawyer and this was called the next legal business day, extended circumstances due to the holiday. If Ruby tries to have papers served on me for the balance of 160.36 I will go to a lawyer in my family who lives in Indiana and have him file changes against her and United. I just got a call from this number 888-324-0701 identifying themsevles as United firms a pre-litigation firm..is this the same company? Are they really a law firm or is it actually a collections agency? Spoke with a Pricilla, Maria and a Mr. Rodiguez (supervisor) Stating that since I did not get a payday loan paid off they are trying to help me take care of this before I get taken to court for fraud. Trying to find out if they can do this. Telling me the call my daughter was from a "Locator" a Joe Baler who doesn't work for them because I pulled the misrepresentation card on them as a debt collector and that if I don't set payment arrangements today or by next Friday legal action would be taken against me. If they are in fact a debt collector that and threatening legal action is a direct violation of credit laws from my understanding.

I got a call today from this same company threatening that if i did not pay 600 they would summons me to court tried to make arrangments they wanted the full payment . Next time they call tell them to go [***]!

This is the same company that has been harassing my Mom and my boss at work telling them I am in a lot of trouble for fraud. They leave messages that are very threatening and always end the message with 'you have been officially warned'. I tried getting them to send me paperwork about the claim and they won't send me anything. They also refuse to give me their address. I filed a report on the better business bureau website against them. I am hoping this will stop them from harassing my Mom and my boss at work.

I got contacted today by a company called PDL Ventures out of Delaware and the number is 1-877-331-5078 the women I spoke to seemed pretty ligit answering all my questions and truely that I did take out a lone in 2009 but thought it was paid for automatic deduction from my checking but appearently their stating it was not and I was being sued. The women I spoke to Ann-Marie Johnson said I was going to recieve an email and a hard copy in the mail as well. IS THIS TRUE? should I contact my bank and change all my info?

I have been getting phone call for a "private Locator" that according to him works for United Pre litigation Firm.  He refuses to give me any information according to him it has to do with my brother and wanting to take him to Court for a loan.  But he doesn't know what is this about??  

My son recieved a call from 866 8191198 the left a long message on his phone we saved the message.  It was a man named Isaiah Monroe looking for my other son. Stated that they where doing an investigation and needed to locate him. That there was a pending action against him that would've filed in the superior court.  The left a case number and at the end of the message it stated that this message was notifying my son.  Then proceeded to say that my son still had time to speak to the plaintiff and to call.  National.  That is it.  So I called them this morning.   Twice.   The first time I asked what company this was the stated national. An attorney office I then asked for the attorneys name and where they are located.she proceeded to tell he she could not give me that information and hung up on me.   I called back got a different girl I asked if this was an atty office she said no they are apre litigation firm.  I asked if they where a collection agency she said she couldn't give me that information and again I was hung up on.    Has anyone heard if thus comoany

I got a call from them on March 6th, 2014 and have been chasing down their wherabouts ever since because they would not give me any info. They are a bottom feeding collection agency, not attorneys. I got the same exact message, called them back and got the info on the "case" that they had for a payday loan from 2009 that is not on my credit and the police department as well as all three credit bureaus have the police reports and criminal case file of the girl that stole mail from everyone on our street and is currently sitting in jail for identity theft. It is out of stat for my state, they said that they had charges of fraud filed in my county, named the county and that is not where the loan was taken out or where I have ever lived, and threatened to have me put in jail. I called the county I live in as well as the county they stated and there is nothing filed anywhere under my name and SSN. They said that a process server would serve me with all of the necessary paperwork for my court case. It is now 3 weeks later to the day and I have not received any mail or been contacted again about this. That process server is really bad at their job!!! Anywho, I have filed suit for threats, disclosing info to a third party, oh the list goes on and on. I suggest you do the same.

The same guy called me with the same bull. I called the person I owed directly and they informed me that it was most likely a scam and to call the collection agency that now has my account. They also told me it was a scam and that they do not do business with National Pre-Litigation Law Firm.
