Phone says it's suspected spam, when you call the number, it says its BMO. Not sure if it's legitimate.

I just got a call from this number. I answered too See who it was as there was no info in the display other than the number. They asked for me by name and when I said “that’s me” they immediately hung up.

Have received calls from this number daily for four days, but at different times. They only let the phone ring twice, so it does not go to voicemail. There is no caller ID displayed just the number.

Been getting calls at random times from this number too. No voicemail, and the one time I did pick up, there was no response when I said hello, and no sound on the other end.

This number calls at least once a day for the past few weeks. Answered it once, they hung up without saying anything. Blocked the number now, but it will still go to VM where it is 5-10 seconds of silence then hang up. I assume it is an automated robo-call, but don't know the origin.

Obviously it is not a "robo-call".

It came up as suspect spam/fraud. I answered they knew my name. said they were calling about a recent credit card offer mailed to me by BMO. I told them they came up as a suspected spam/fraud and asked them a few times who they were and why they were calling again. then I hung up.

These guys just don't stop. They've been spamming me all month. 3 calls in the last 2 days. I blocked them after the first call this month but they still show in my call logs.

I got the same call.  It is a SCAM. The voice said she was from BMO, then she said she was with Canada Direct on behalf of BMO.  She said BMO was contacting all their clients to make sure they were aware of their promotion. This was an interactive recorded voice.  It's very real sounding but it's not a live person on the other end of the line. Even if the number 888 361 6815 is a real BMO number, the scammers spoof that number so it shows up on your all display. BMO does not contact people in this manner, nor does it hire other companies to do it on their behalf.
