- FredPhone rang after midnight. Heard a robo voice and tried to hang up but the robo would not release the line. Voice said something about powerball winnings and I could decline “but if I were you I’d
Call”. It then said I could press one to return the call or two to decline. I reluctantly pressed two because I was afraid if I just tried to hang up again they wouldn’t release the line. I don’t know what they think they’re accomplishing by calling after midnight — that people awakened from a dead sleep will be so confused they’ll agree to anything?- Call type: Scam suspicion

- DeeCalled at 12:54 AM, hung up when answering machine came on. Who calls at 1 in the morning?
- MaryI got a voicemail message -- the message was cut off, so I didn't know what I was "missing". The part that was understandable said something about my service might be cut off, and the number to call 888-370-9232.
I was very concerned and called right away. I got a greeting that said nothing about what company it was or any clue what sort of service. It said to hold briefly to be connected. The part about "please wait to be connected" was repeated maybe once every 30 seconds or so. Eventually I heard the message "thank you, goodbye." And the call was dropped.
All very unpleasant. - SAJust said they were AT&T- and were upgrading and wanted to know if we had other AT&T services like Directv- I hung up

- G.M.2 or more calls almost every day for the last 3 weeks, answering machine answered, all with the same message but no product or company mentioned. 3 calls today saying my subscription was about to expire so i answered and asked who was calling. A heavy accent answered with a name, and stated Amazon. This is not an Amazon prime number, this is a scam.

- Jodi in BostonEmail from "Geek Squad" (Best Buy's name, but this bore no relation to them) saying "Thank you for your order" and that they charged me $399. for a subscription. Telling me that to cancel I had to call their number. Address is fake. It's all fake!
