- NB| 4 repliesUnknown called I picked up and the were saying they were with process service dispatch unit that they had papers to be served and the local sheriff was being used to service the papers. “ I called the local sheriff and they said there is nothing in there system saying to service papers to me. “. They also left a number (888)372-0352 and a case number.
They called again the next day and it went to voicemail. They also called my boss, my personal, work, and gf phone numbers. I called (888)372-0352 and when the phone was picked up all they said was corperate offices. When I asked them who they were with they said fineberg & philips law offices. “I googled that law office and they came up on this site with other numbers being used”. They said I owed a debt to US Bank and my checks was going to held or garnish if I didn’t settle it over the phone.
I told I’m called the local authorities and my attorney general then hung up. I know it’s a scam. I’ve been getting these calls for 13 years and it’s always US bank.- Caller: Process service dispatch unit/fineberg and philips law offices

- M replies to NB| 3 repliesHello,
I received a very similar phone call yesterday morning. Did you hear from them again? - Brenda replies to M| 2 repliesI just received a call from them too. Said the name of the firm is "Feinberg". Started same way - first call was "Mario" a process server. Then I was connected to someone else. They were calling about a 7 year old matter which I do not even remember.
- BThese scammers actually left me a text at 2:50 saying I had to get back to them by 3? Clearly a scam if they text and only give me a 10 min window to return the call. I don’t know how they got my name or my number.

- M replies to Brenda| 1 replyThey wouldn't give me a name, just said they were a "dispatch processor service" then when I specifically asked for the name (3 times) they simply said "legal collections". The gals name was Jasmine.
Thank you for responding. - Tygerkat replies to MIt's a scam. Real process servers don't call in advance because then you could simply avoid them. They also don't give you the option to pay your way out of being served which is what these scammers will tell you. Block and ignore such calls.
- Faithie| 1 replyI received a call at work. I told them they were not to call me at work. He said I had 15 mins to call and get the papers rerouted to my home address which is the address he gave to me to begin with. He got pretty nasty towards the end of the call
- Caller: Process Server Documentation
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- BigA replies to FaithieYes, they do get nasty when they realize that they wasted their time and will not be able to extort money from you. Contact your State Attorney General and report this outfit.
