They claim that I'm being sued but they called my sister saying that I gave out her phone number. Wouldn't give any info. This is a scam.

Basically left a message someone filing a civil suit against me.

Left message claiming to be in regards to a civil lawsuit being filed.

Scam.  Called last week from a different number.  Same recorded message.

Scammers, called from 2 different number claiming to a have a civil suit against me, for what I couldn't tell you. Seems like every year around tax season I get theses calls. I wouldn't worry about it they are just trying to scam you out of money.

The caller ID shows 888 496 1425, but this is the number they are requesting I call as I am being sued.  However, I knew this was a SCAM as soon as I saw the Caller ID was "Document Preperation" and not "Preparation". If they can't spell "prepAration" with an "a" correctly, it is a clue that is is from an uneducated Scammer or a Foreign Scammer.

A COMPLETE SCAM. Said I was being sued but would not provide any detail, point of contact, mailing address or company name when I asked for it to forward to our legal counsel. I told them to go ahead and file so we could provide an answer.
