This number called and said it was Mimi (sp?) Services, LLC, just verifying that my phone number was active.  Very weird.  Calling back goes to an unidentified voicemail box.

very odd call. woman's recorded voice stated the call was from Mimi (Mammimi?? etc) Services, LLC, calling just to verify, as other posters state, "this is an active number."  Reverse phone lookup sites find no information. strange and suspicious.

Yes, just received same call. Exactly as mentioned  in above reports.

Just got one of these too from MIMI. What is it? Anyone know. I have a bad feeling about this.

This number called me but since I block all caller IDs with toll-free area codes my phone did not ring and the caller got a no-answer.

Note that NO ONE can call from a toll-free number as the numbers do not physically exist. So if you get a call from a toll-free number it is a telemarketer most of the time.

Got the call - blocked the call.

They can never call me again.

Buy a call-blocking phone.  Uniden and Panasonic make wonderful call blocking phones and they're inexpensive.  They also come with at least one wireless handset.  Very handy!!!

This caller called me and told me they were from CIBC banking
