Sue Rodgers called saying she was with Merchant Solutions. She asked about my most recent credit card swiping bill and asked me to fax my statement to 1-888-385-1433. I called and verified with my credit card swiping company that this was not them and a competitor was trying to trick me into signing a contract with them.

I got the same call from the same person, Sue Rogers. She said she was with a company called Merchant Services.  She wanted me to fax my November statement to her at 888–385–1433. It sounded like a scam to me, so I call my credit card processing company. I also looked up the phone number that she gave me and could not find a company called merchant services attached to that phone number.

They called twice to say I have a credit on my Merchant services account and I needed to send them in a copy of my last statement to get the credit.

This is a scam to get information about your business account and merchant services.  DO NOT fax or send them anything.  Simply block the number and move on with your day.  Slimy, corrupt and desperate.

They're still at it.  "Lauren" has been repeatedly calling saying the same, saying she was from Merchant Services.

SCAM: Don't do it! Received a call, from Nina, claiming to be from merchant services and that they needed to issue a refund for and correct my account for an overcharging of fees.  They insisted that I fax my statement to them immediately to 888-385-1433 (while they waited on the phone with me).  The call came from 214-206-1878.  She was very convincing, but it seemed suspicious,  I requested a call back number for her.  She then asked me to take pictures of the statements with my cell phone and send them to her.  That seemed really suspicious.  I called my processor, it was not affiliated with them.

I've gotten this call multiple times. Today got a call from 214-432-0269. Said same thing that we were overcharged for on processing rate from visa and mastercard. I said I don't have time to look into this, send me an email. Email says phone 1-800-490-7479 ext 406, fax 888-385-1433 from statements@merchantsvcinc.com. I'm going to try to report so someone can figure out who owns the domain @merchantsvcinc.com to shut them down. Such bull. Sometimes they say they are from Quickbooks. They have called back twice today and just hang up when I answer now. One time I asked them to send me a W9 so I could verify they are a legit company. The person said they've never had anyone ask that and would have to get back to me.... yeah because it doesn't exist!

I agree. I learned the same thing from my credit card processing company. Total SCAM.  You could have heard a pin drop when she called back & I told her that Google says her email address is a scam. She put me on hold for a moment & disconnected. This morning they are trying to talk to me again but I won't answer it.
