These people called my home and I called the number back knowing it is a scam as I have no debt and told them that I was calling the better business bureau on them.  She hung up right away. These people need to be arrested for fraud and need to go to jail for long while.

Had a message from this number today and when I called back, it was the same bs about 2 bad checks that I supposedly wrote to Cashnet in 2009 for over $12,000. The rep Brook Holman ext 1014, went so far as to call out an entire SSN, name, address and email address that was supposed to belong to me. She said I have 72hrs to clear up the matter. We"ll see what happens.

Gotten a call from this same number. A few times on yesterday and again this morning at my job. The message was not left on my direct number it was left on an automatic messge for our operator who then forwarded the message to me directly. This his harrassment right? I called the number back and got voicemail.

i passed some bad chks and they prosecuted me its fddddd up i didnt do it either wtf but these people are serious i wish they werent

I recieved a call from this number saying i was formally reported along with my S.S. number..What does this mean????No clue..Also something against my checking..Been through foreclosure lost everything I worked hard for Filed Bankruptcy am paying back monthly payments to pay debt off with the chapter 13 so leave me alone...  Still working hard will never give up like some losers. A Common Wealth Call Why????  NEVER would do to a cashnet place if my life depended on it....

I received a called from my girlfriend who tells me they left the same message on her voicemail. If you have my address then papers should be sent to me directly who calls around to inform someone they have criminal charges pending. When I called back Jeremy Cobbs was extremely rude. I have never wrote a check let alone a  bad check. I don't right checks. He said I gave a financial institutions the right to automatically withdraw funds. I told him if I gave that permission I can also stop it. It's my right. So how is that fraudulent if I tell you not to take money from me. He said you owe them $850.00,  I asked who the financial institutions was he would not tell me tell, Only said it was in 2009. It took them almost 3 years to contact me. I mean please. Jeremy Cobbs said we can settle this out of court and when I told him I need to see some documentation he said good luck with the judge and hung up on me. I don't know about any of you but if you tell me I have a Class E Felony pending on me I need to see some documentation anyone can say something over the phone. Commonwealth Investigations are nothing but some money grubbing debt collectors.

i being takin to court on these bad checks they claim i wrote and i didnt i recieved my summons today wtf if these ppl are a scam they sure no what they doing oh yea thanks for the post they really helped me :( . what should i do ?

I just received a call from the 202 number with a very detailed voicemail saying that I have bad checks out and I had 72 hours to respond or they'd prosecute. Left a case number and said it would be filed in Dallas County. Callback number is 888-392-8605. I too am a victim of identity theft yet do not have any checks out. For everyone out there that has received this call - I can't understand the guy's name - did he leave a case number?

Please have them stop calling me. It's my business phone number.

This scam - Just hang up - everyone needs to report these calls to the Attorney General or Local Authorities. They even called a family member in another state and stated they were looking for me??? To press Criminal Charges?

888-392-8605 - Commonweath Investigations - Same deal..total scam, they are calling at night which against the Federal Trade Commission rules.  Do not call these people back, they are debt collectors and pose to be representing a District Attorney's office, which is total BS.

I received the same message.  Called back to extensin 1014 when I said that I was not paying anything without a debt validation letter she passes me on to John Accord. John Accord supplied me with some information but said that he did not work for the company he was calling to get my final statement so I could be sued in court.  I read these posts and just for fun called him back.  I kept him on the phone for about five minutes being very polite I asked questions such as : who is the original debtor, what was the date of the original debt, and how much?  He put me on hold each time but eventually told me it was a debt from CashNetNow for around 100.00 dollars from August 2009.  I told him I would pull my bank records and check.  He said to show it to the judge when my summons arrived in the mail.  I reminded him that they had left  what I thought was a threating message on my answering machine, and I was saving this conversation and all others that were left.  He said it was just more then could pin on my at court.  Just for fun might start calling him once or twice a day.

I keep receiving these calls from different people everyday at work and they leave voicemails stating I wrote checks on a closed account, I don't have a checking account and haven't had one in about 4 years, I have savings only.  They are threatening with jail, court, fraud.  I haven't done anything wrong. What do I do?
