- Deborah Griffin replies to Robin| 5 repliesShut down your computer, wait about fifteen minutes and turn it back on, it should be clear.
- BigA replies to Deborah Griffin| 3 repliesIn most cases it is best to clear out the cache, cookies, and history as well, and then install an ad blocker so that you don't see any of those popups anymore.

- Robin replies to BigA| 2 repliesI know how to clear everything, but how do I install an ad blocker?
- BigA replies to Robin| 1 replyIn most cases you can get an ad blocker ad on from your browser's website. Firefox has several, I use the one with a u in front of it. I am not sure that Google allows them anymore since it interfers with their advertising but you might be able to find AdBlock Plus. I'm not sure what Microsoft is allowing. In most cases the browser will have either ad ons or extensions listed under privacy and security. If you know how to do the rest, then I am sure you can find what you need.
- Robin replies to BigAThanks so much!

This occurred from typing ‘FA’ vs. Facebook.
Solution as offered above is shutdown and clearing cookies, etc. wishing Google allowed ad blocker.
But thank goodness for this help. - CelticDragon replies to .| 4 repliesI have a Ad blocker on Google and it works well-don't know where you get that idea
- BigA replies to CelticDragon| 3 repliesGoogle did say that they were going to stop offering ad blockers since it interfered with their ads and would cost them money. It is possible that you cannot ad one now? I have one also but it doesn't work all the time. I would prefer to use Firefox but that doesn't seem to work at a lot of the websites either anymore.
- CelticDragon replies to BigA| 2 repliesDepends on the blocker. The one i have on Firefox works great. And if that one's working, most likely the one on my Google machine is working too.
