- bellaHas been calling my # (that I have had over 8 years!) for the last 6 months on and off. Looking to verify an address for "Sherri Lanaheart." I have called back 3 times and said I do not know a Sherri Lanaheart and to delete my number. After a month or so the calls start again. And to say the least, they are NOT pleasant!!!

- Tweety| 3 repliesDan called my phone today and they manage to go through a loophole to dial from a "local" number to you. I live in KC and the calls have come through as 816-399-0635, 816-399-0674 and 816-399-0671. Funny how they can use a local number to make you think it's a local person. They obviously are harrassing people! They have called several times but this is they first time they had the nerve to leave a voicemail asking for an address or to confim an address of someone and to call 888-397-4934 either way to confirm or deny. By the way, I am not stupid enough to call them back! I find it odd that when you google the number, it comes up as a florist in NJ so they are either illegally tapping through on that number or something as well as using local lines. Someone on here said it was 1st Choice Assets so I googled it and they are in NY. Comes up with a completely different toll free number there (888-362-2477). Their Web site claims they work "within the framework of FDCPA and FCRA guidelines". Apparently not if they are trying to disguise their identity by using other phone numbers not related to them and trying to trick you with local numbers! They are a disgrace!

3. by federal and state law once you tell them to stop calling and they have the incorrect location
info ....they must stop any further contact..or it it unlawful...
4and if you are the correct person they are looking for...once they make contact and

- ckI got a call as well from Dan. He left a voicemail stating he is looking to have an address verified for a legally required notice. The phone number comes up as 267-443-1094 and 267-507-1810.. I have received several calls from them and told them that I am not able to help them. I am hoping that they stop calling now. If they have something for someone then just send it in the mail and if they don't live there it will be sent back. Even if I could verify information about someone I wouldn't do it anyway. I don't give out information over the phone to people like this.

- George AusmanThese people call our home multiple times a day asking for verification of an address for someone who's name sounds like "Tonning". It is hard to understand what they are saying. I have called them 3 times and asked to be removed for the call list. We have had our current telephone number for almost 30 years. They either laugh or just hang up on you when you call them. They are extremely rude and very unprofessional.

- JoshuaSame, they called my house number looking for my brother. Could tell me anything but a call back number, and a file number and her name Nichole. From 888-397-4934. I asked how they got my house number, that not one person in my family has. I only use my cell phone for work and personal calls. I've never given this number out as it's also a blocked number, so you can't see my number when I call out. They said the number is what my brother has on file. My brother was never given this number ever, nor anyone in my family. So, they are searching somewhere for numbers to contact family members. I've had this number for 8 years and my wife or myself has ever, ever given this out. Nor to business, hospitals, etc.

My debts are all taken care of, so I can't think of a reason these people should be calling me.
No voicemail was left.
