    Recording: "We have received suspicious activity on your social...to get more information press 1 to get to a SS officer now."
    Looked up number, shows to be a SS office in Ohio.  Recording sounds unprofessional, I'm in Texas (why would Ohio be calling me?)... deduce that this is a scam.

    just got a call from 315-636-4726. I don't believe government agencies ever call, they write letters.

    Caller ID shows Social Security Admin but still a scam.  As stated above,  if SSA wants to talk to you they will mail a letter
