Caller ID says Jeff Roger, upon answering phone, no one responds

We got a call from a person identifying himself as Jeff Rogers.  He said he was an IT person and that his company had detected a problem with my PC.  He wanted me to log on to my PC so he could "help" me with this problem.  I said NO THANKYOU and hung up.  He had an Indian accent...

Sure sounds like a scam to me..

Same number called me.  East Indian/Asian voice from some computer technology department. I asked him how he would know this.  He continued to read what sounded like a script to me.  Such B.S.  Remember...if you did not ask for the call....99% it is fake or bogus.  Just hang up quickly.  Maybe they can access your computer thru the phone lines...who knows nowadays.
