They called me saying I had a debt w/a checking acct w/BOA. I haven't had a checking acct in this decade let alone w/BOA. They were supposedly taking me to court for $350. I told them I'll see you in court!

Nasty bill collectors from BOA calling everyone they can get ahold of (family, friends, etc.) trying to say they needed information on my job and address to send a summons for a court case involving "Several complaints" and even made up a bogus court docket number. Called the court where it was supposedly filed and they had no record of it and the number the collectors gave me was completely wrong - as in, it had too many numbers!

These people called a family memeber of mine. They left a message which stated that i have been officially notified of a summons to appear in court for  "writting bad checks." They also left a court case #. I called this number back, i spoke with an older gentleman who was unable to provide me with the name of the court that is hearing this matter. So i told him to stop calling people and claming that i have a summons to appear in court. Whoever this company is, they have bad business practice. The last i checked, you can't be a legal debt collector and claim there is a summons.
