I received a text message from text address 320-75. It addressed me by name, asking me to call back about a "Data Specialists" job that I had applied for with "CAREERNETWORK". I can't find any record of this application. However, I called the number back and the automated attendant said "Welcome to Career Track". It said the business hours are Monday through Friday, although I received the text on Saturday morning....

Correction, the Saturday hours are 10am-2pm, and I received the text at 11:30, but didn't call back till after 2. I'll try again Monday.

I also received a test message about a call center position I applied to. It came in on Saturday at 1:40 pm from 32075 and addressed me by name but I can't find a record where I applied to any openings at Carrernetwork. I'll call them during business hours and see what I come up with. I was concerned this might be some scam so I will posts something when I find out.

That's funny, I did too but passed on calling it right away as I was busy doing something else.   I was actually pissed the [***] couldn't pick up the phone and call during free air time and felt the need to text me at 25 cents @ text page.   It's probably a scam and has already cost me money.

I also recieved a message from them about a job, but I did apply for a job through careernetwork

I recvd a text at 8am Saturday  asking me to return the call regarding a position I recently applied for, but but not through careernetwork. I applied through the employer directly. I called back and spoke with a guy who told me that the employer was considering me for the position and that if they are interested they would contact me directly. I asked where does careernetwork com from/what does it have to do with my application and he had no answer for me. He then said that on my application I said I was interested in going back to school and i told him that wasn't accurate. I never said that (as I saved a copy of the application for myself) and besides I already graduated from university. Then it seems he lost interest, said good luck with your job and adios he hung up.

so obviously they are not really calling you about the position, just gets you to call back. Very telemarketer-y

I received a text stating it was a response to my resume posted on career network, when I only have a profile with career builder.  This may be a recruiting agency trying to get people in school, or to train people through some course they offer.  It's certainly not a job offer however, which is why we post our resume.  Beware of these scams, as I have received SEVERAL!  I'm considering removing my profile... I received a message from 320 75 today as well although it had nothing to do with a job posting. It was about Vivint Lauch party 1PM TODAY1 ALL recruits, reps, maagers, techs!! BE There!!
