got a text about an atm card through a company i don't use.
tried the phone number given and it had been disconnected.

i checked transwest credit union's website, in bright red letters there is message stating that the text message is a scam and not from them

Got a text, called the credit union and they said it was a phishing scheme.

Same thing. Got a text. Called. Number disconnected. In Salt Lake area..... prob someone trying to steal personal information

Just got a text from this number saying "This is an automated message from TRANSWEST C.U.  Your ATM card has been suspended.  To reactivate call urgent at 888-400-5996."  I have an account but no ATM card.  Beware!

Got a text on cell phone from this number stating my ATM card with  TRANSWEST CREDIT UNION was deactivated,and it's urgent that  I call. I DON'T have an account there....

Our text said that it was from  "FedChoice F.C.U" and that our ATM card has been suspended. We called the automated number an it asked for the ATM card # AND p.i.n #. Not thinking, we entered the account# with expiration and not the p.i.n. We are calling our bank today to notify them.
