Call from HostMonster.com to verify set up of a hosting account. Called twice but did not leave a message the first time, so perhaps this will be useful if you've missed a call from them.

888-401-4678 is the BlueHost.com phone number.
It is a website hosting company.

Called my cellular phone and left a voicemail for "Kyle Logan" (that isnt my name)

Said he was from BlueHost and wanted to offer me (kyle) a 2 year plan. Don't bother with these morons.

Got the same thing; a few days after setting up an account with them. Seems legit.

It's a web hosting service -- BlueHost.com -- they are legit.  They have to verify that you made this purchase, but they don't require anything other than the last four of the card you ordered on.  My dad has used this company for years, so I knew I was using someone with a good record.

Violation of DNC...don't have account, never heard of them, but trying to sell me a renewal of webhosting that I never had.

Was checking our checking account and seen a charge of $395.64. Called them to tell them we didn't authorize this charge, was advised to email into billing to have charge reversed. I think customer service should be able to reverse a charge especially when it wasn't authorized to begin with.

While they can reverse the charges, they have rules and regulations that they must follow.
