I have repeated calls from this number which prompt the message recorder, but they never leave a message. I am being harrassed by a handful of collection agencies because some random person gave them my home phone number. Each time I call the credt coll company to tell them to stop or I will take legal action. Then it gets passed along to another one and the same thing starts all over again.

Answered "Unavailable" because I usually get these "Unavailable" calls from Kaiser and never know which ones are legit.  They hung up on me when I answered.  Blocked!

I have their number blocked but they still keep trying.

at least one call every day.  Used to just hang up but now they leave a message.  Don't leave a company name.  Since I have no outstanding debts, I NEVER answer or return the call.  However, the constant phone ringing is so annoying.

What's the common thread? How do we get these meaningless harassment calls and who would take these jobs for a living. Judging by the low maturity levels of the callers my guess is they are kids lacking conscience working the cheap jobs. Good job parents instilling those meaningful values in our youth!

I guy with heavy Hindu or Chinese accent, asking for my boss. I thought this was an international phone call, I realized this is a debt collector located in Saint Louis, MO.

I have kept track of the several phone messages left on our answering machine left by an unidentified "debt collector." We have no debts. The phone numbers are the same except for the last number:  888-401-9025, 888-401-9026, and 888-401-9027.  I do not return their calls. This is just the latest round of phone scams.

My credit cards are with a credit consumer agency.  My mother who passed in January - had credit cards.  I am not liable for any of her debt.  She did not leave any money - she only had her SS and Medicare/Medicaid.  Tired of these type of phone calls.  One day they are Omni and the next some other name.  Never say any information.  So, I have blocked the numbers.  And next I will be filing a complaint with Attorney General in several states and FTC.  If necessary, a new phone number.  This is a form of harassment and the people who call should be allowed to do this.

This popped up in my Chrome Browser with huge warnings and what looked like a blue screen.  The said to call and a technician would help me remove malware.  Closed the browser and tracked the number instead.

I have filed a complaint with my state's Attorney General.  I have also requested additional info on this company from the FBI - fraud division.  They are harassing me and my family.  Do not give them any information

They have been calling me close to a year looking for a Lynette Shapiro. I have told them multiple time that no one by that name has ever had my number. They tell me they will remove the number for their records but never do!!!! They call multiple times a week!

I've been getting almost-daily calls from this number for about two months.  They leave a message saying, "This call is from a debt collector."  The first time I called them back (STUPIDLY); they said they were looking for someone (whose name happens to be my mom's name...because the phone was initially activated by her).  Here's what I SHOULD HAVE DONE: I should have gone online and checked my credit score.  Seeing as how I have no uncollected debts listed, I could have safely ignored the call instead of calling back.

Just remember: according to the Federal Trade Commission, if you have an uncollected debt "Every collector must send you a written “validation notice” telling you how much money you owe within five days after they first contact you." (from consumer.ftc.gov "Debt Collection" article).  So if you do happen to fall for the unfortunate experience of answering this call, always say you will wait for written notice that they are required by law to send.  Then request a credit report from the three credit bureaus (sometimes an uncollected debt can be listed under one but not all).

These guys are not legitimate.  I've reported them to FTC and I've emailed Credit Control LLC (who they claim to be calling for), but they still keep calling me.

They keep calling..this time I pretended as I was taking a message for the person they are looking for....When I asked the Company name the gentleman (which had a heavy accent, so I had to have him spell out the name of the company) stated "Credit Control", Phone number 888.401.9025, when I asked for a name or a ref# he started stuttering and kept repeating the company name "Credit Control". I instructed him to call back and leave a message once he was ready to provide all information and I hung up.

They called asking for an employee and then hung up. ID says the caller was Credit Control.

Received a call last evening with a computer generated voice leaving garbled instructions. Called again this evening - same voice. ITS A SCAM !!!! My solution - disconnected my land line. Sick of these people.

I continue to receive calls from this number. I answered today and they hung up on me. I called them back and asked what the nature of their call was about and they refused to tell me. They did say they were calling from Tampa, FL.

This number is ISIS recruiter on the US soil.contact local FBI.

Called my cell phone and asked my personal information like DOB, Social no., email address. They said from credit control and asked me to pay for Macys credit from seven months ago which I never purchased. When I asked her to specify the purchase type, she refused. I need to block this phone
