This number called me and it was a woman identifying herself as "Melissa Coleman", saying she was a process server and they she liked to call the people she was paid to serve first before serving them because her client left a message they could be contacted to clean up the issue before process service.  Upon repeated questioning she said she was a process server and gave me a case number that she said was filed in civil court in a city I resided in over 10 years ago.  I took down the 888-404-0422 phone number from her and the so called "case number".  Then I immediately called the civil court clerk in the city/county she said they filed in and of course this was a fictitious claim.  Ha Ha on them I taped the conversation and will now sue them in my home state for violating the Fair Debt and Collections Act. They can write me a check!  Always check things before doing anything and if it is a phone number you do not recognize or fictitious caller ID label, always record the call.  Boo hoo for them, as a consumer I am tired of this illegal harassment.

My employer got a message from a so called process server. Telling me they are going to serve me papers and they will be at my employer or my residence between the hours of 3-5 pm and to call that number for any questions. Sounded like he was in a call center as you can hear other people reading from the same script.

Same number called me for the first time yesterday claiming that I had an unpaid overdrawn acct from 2009 from Wells Fargo and if I didnt pay the full amount of 1600 they will charge me 3 times that amount. Also threatened to attach my wages and sieze my bank acct. Threatened to show up at my employer and 3 other addresses 2 of them in which I never even resided at between 3 and 5pm today.  They said they had been making several attempts to contact me but yet only called one time and i immediatly called them back. I called Wells Fargo fraud dept and gave them my info and the rep said I had nothing in thier data base linked to my name or social. So I called the 1888 numb back and asked for the acct # i " supposidly" overdrew 10 years ago and they could only give me 4 digits on the acct. They also told me then at that point when I called the 2nd time that it now wasnt a Wells Fargo acct it was a Wachovia acct. I want something done about it.

I’ve gotten the same exact call. Expect when the server calls it says “No Caller ID” and the 855 number I’m given to call back is someone’s cell phone aka “desk” number. Melissa Coleman is the name of the server. I called Wells Fargo and they had no idea what I was talking about. 855-881-1047 is the call back number
