    New scam...
    I got two calls (recording) from Amazon Fraud alert, or something like that.
    They said that my account had possibly been compromised, someone was trying to order an iPhone, and that they had placed a hold on the order against my cc on file. They left a toll-free number to call to resolve the issue. The recording did not repeat.

    My Amazon account looks fine - no emails and no record of a recent iPhone order.
    I contacted Amazon. Not them. They said they would send emails first, that include the order number, and not cold call people.

    Received call & voicemail on my cell as well as my home phone from this number stating word for word with poor grammar "Allers for which the card attached to your Amazon account is being charged. We have placed hold on it is that order seems to be fraudulent. So please call this toll free number 1-888-404-1153
    Checked my Amazon account & everything is fine plus Amazon would never leave messages like this.
