Person left a message saying they were from our bank and for us to call this number immediately.  Called the number and it answered with our bank's name and asked for our account number, then for our full SSN, which the bank would already have.

Person called said they were with our bank and wanted to to speak with us regarding business with our bank. Haven't called them back yet, but the number was from North Tonawa, NY. While the number given was 1-888-404-1302, the number on caller ID was 716-564-4905.

They are NOT "with your bank", as they claim. Thie is Firstsource Solutions, a sleazy bottom feeder collection agency out of the Buffalo, NY area:

Account Solutions Group (ASG) is typical of the many sleazy debt collectors who are now based around Buffalo, NY, which has become the debt collection capital of America.

Using under trained, unprofessional, overzealous debt collectors who use threats of litigation, intimidation, and fear, to collect. ASG has a lousy reputation for responding to disputes involving the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. These are federal laws that were passed to regulate the collection industry and protect consumers from inaccurate information being placed on their credit reports.

This is NOT an agency to be believed or trusted. Most of these agency owners pay more attorney fees as a defendant than they do as a plaintiff, further strengthening their reputation as parasites and bottom-feeders.
