Have gotten calls from them!!! They are a company that pays less than pennies on the dollar for past due accounts. They file law suites against the account holder hoping they don't or cannot pay or afford an attorney. Then they file a lien against you and everything you own. They've had 100's of 1000's of law suites filed against them for what they do to consumers. Google Midland Credit Management or Midland Funding LLC, and you can find out just what they have been doing and are still doing to consumers everyday.

This is a scam. They called me about my $7000 Nordstrom's credit card debt which is nonexistent. I have no debt. Then they tried to get me to give them my Social Security number.   Block their number.

!!Do not take it personal when you hear the Middle Eastern Thick accents they have. They are just people trying to make living like all of you!!

You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation, cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (think of it as the best $6.47 you ever invested).  Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it.  Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter.  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it.  Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):  http://www.consumeradvocates.org/

They can TRY all they want!!! DON'T answer any calls you're not familiar with and get a phone that blocks endless numbers because they use endless numbers!

I would find it a lot better to force them to stop the calls and pay you, rather than going out to buy a piece of equipment that you have to pay for.
Postitive cash flow is always better than negative cash flow.  But you do what you want and just hope you can block everyone of the their calls.

An honest and moral person usually gives credit when copying a post someone else made (that would be me).  Since you didn't, that means you are neither honest nor moral, but are simply a thief who is pretty much brainless because they can't come up with an original thought.

Ongoing start up scamming calls from this successfully sued company. Midland Credit etal. My number formerly belonged to someone else and continue to get the same calls  doesn't matter how long I've had this number now and how many times I've told them I'm am not the person they keep calling about. Disgusting. However I did start logging in when they call. I'm a couple more calls away from getting a lawyer for harassment after I send a certified letter as mentioned by some one else in another post!!!

Well the solution to your problem was posted in this thread.  All you need to do is read and follow the provided link.  The calls will stop, you can report them, and you will learn how to sue them and make them pay you for the harassment.  Or you can ignore this post as well and put up with the calls.  Your choice.
