Caller said her name was Marty and she was calling on behalf of my student loan lender. She went on rambling about how the government can waive interest on student loans, but mine are currently with a lender that doesn't qualify. Of course, if I moved all my loans to her company then I'd qualify for waived interest and countless other benefits that were so super awesome she couldn't even describe them...

Caller by the name of Marty stating she can help me consolidate my student loans.  I can tell she is reading off a script.  I have received multiple messages from someone named Marty but they appear to have different female voices, so I assume all these people calling are "Marty."  I've added this number to my block list.

Caller said her name was Marty on behalf of Dept. of Ed. She said my lender was not the Dept. of Ed., and I was missing out on benefits I was entitled for if I consolidated my loans. I never called back, since this number is not listed within the Dept. of Ed.

Marty is spiffing phone numbers from my home state trying to tempt me with the same offers and insists that I call 888-407-0792 for more information. The calls come to my cell that has followed me for the last 10 years, and I never answer because of this type of scams.

Got a call from Marty from the Dept of Ed. To consolidate my school loans. Scam!!!
