Debt collectors - from their messsage, they're LJ Ross(?) Completely automated, even idenitfying the automated speaker as Veronica. Bizarre.

Maybe the collection companies can't afford real people, since no one answer's their phones anymore...

I keep getting calls from this number. I don't have any unpaid bills!!

Getting numerous calls, voice mails for someone else. I called them back, no company identification given. As soon as I told female to stop calling my personal phone she kept talking over me. I finally said," Shut up and listen to me [***]. I know you tape these calls and I'm telling you to stop calling my number." She acknowledged the taping then I hung up.Typical collection agency ploy.

Debt collector....in my case, medical bills.

Left voicemail..automated voice said "this is not a sales call, we'll be with you shortly" and some guy said hello, thinking I picked up and then he hung up

Got a call from this number today.  No message left.  I don't think it would be a debt collector in this case since I have no debt.

Got a robot call from this number just now that stated it was DTE calling, asked me to call back. I did, spoke with a woman who said they are a payment center for DTE. She asked for the last four digits of my SS#, but I asked if there was other info I could provide. Verified my previous address. I have recently moved so she said they were just calling to remind me of my final bill that is due later this month and offered to take payment over the phone. Overall, seems like a legit business but don't see why they are bothering me when it's not due for several weeks.

Same thing here. DTE. I just moved and cancelled service with them. Bill not due for several weeks yet. DTE calling to remind me to pay my final bill... Which is only about 20 bucks.

Called to remind me that my final bill for electric service was due (I already paid it through their website as well). Only about $38 and not due for another tem days. No real reason to call me, but whatever. I guess it helps get their payments on time.

These are rip off artists.  When I called the number back, the man insisted to know when I would pay my final bill (also recently moved).  The bill was not even due, but he sounded like a debt collector....obnoxious.  I ended up hanging up on the guy.  I went to DTE website and filed a complaint.  DTE called me back and said that it was a scammer and not them.  They asked for the phone number, and verified that it was not DTE.  Be careful folks, scammers want into your bank acct!

Yesterday received a call/message from this number saying it is DTE and they have 'important information regarding your bill'. Call M-F 8amto5pm. Definitely NOT DTE!!!!

This is actually a real call from DTE Energy payment center regarding a billing change. Why don't they put
DTE on caller id instead of "toll free"?

I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. They left a VM saying something about important info regarding our bill. I hit redial and they said they didn't have my number in their system. The lady was rude so I figured it wasn't sales-related. Ended up hanging up on her.

Call from Unknown number, robot leaves a message saying from DTE.  This is NOT DTE.  Do not give them any information, it's a scam.

Woman "Kimberly" claiming to be from DTE Final Bill Center.  Knew my name and wanted to "confirm" the last 4 of my social and my email address.  Gave no information.  Very weird as I live in CA and they claimed to have a past due for me on an address in Detroit MI.  Am sure it's a scam.

Do not give them any information with your card card, it is a scam! I have been getting them from same number saying they are Microsoft.
