Caller from this phone number asks person for there credit card number to try numerous trial products at a discount price to receive a free 100 dollar gift card. After person agrees. The scammer than charges the persons credit card monthly for more than triple the price that the product is actually worth. When my husband told me that he fell for this scam, i immediately told him to go take all of his money off his credit card and cancel his card for a new one. Although they did manage take payments out for 3 different places. One was for a trial of "Green Coffee beans" another for a Lawyer to consolidate our debt and another one that I can't remember at this time. Total came to about 100 bucks. But we canceled my husband's credit card before they could take more out. As it could of gotten much worse. The following week, the scammers called my husband back. Saying they couldn't get no money off his credit card (btw...hahahaha). They asked my husband for a new credit card number. My husband offered them a prepaid credit card. Which had no money on it. Scammer said, they can't accept pre paid credit cards. Than they asked again for another NON prepaid credit card. My husband told them he didn't have another one. He also asked where his Walmart gift was, since he did fullfill 3 of there offers. They than asked again, "we need a new credit card number? Husband asked again when he will be receiving his 100 Walmart gift card as promised? As my husband was about to talk again, the caller/scammer hangs up! It was ALL a SCAM! We lost about 100 bucks as mentioned. But this could of been 10× worse if i wasn't there to put a stop to it. Since this was a Ssi credit card and money is deposited on it monthly, the scammers would of took all they cud which in turn would of hurt us severely as we have 6 kids and can't afford much the way it is. Thankfully i got Emails saying what was being taken off my husband's card. Cause my husband would of never told me. The reason for this is because my husband has Multiple Sclerosis. He has lesions all over his brain. He does NOT think right at times. Sadly, this is why he fell for this scam and heartless scammers! :-( P.S...i hope i helped by reporting this number to warn other innocent people. DON'T BE A VICTIM!!! HANG UP ON THEM AND IMMEDIATELY REPORT THEM OR BETTER YET...."DON'T ANSWER"!!! Be sure to write this number down as well as other scam numbers and place it right next to your phone. This way, everyone in the household knows its not a nice person they are goin to heartless people who they will be talking to!
