Said they were coming to serve papers, but never showed up.  Who are they anyway?  Think it is just a scam.

said i needed to call....said they had sealed papers...gave me a supposed docket number and that i needed to call so they could deliver the papers....in kentucky the sheriffs department normally delivers court papers....plus docket numbers are not written like this one was....They said the company was GKR

I first received a call today  from a 168--4577 saying that i owed a loan amount due gave me a case number and everything transferred to me from some guy saying he wanted to help me and get a prepaid card and send money i asked first can i see some paper work on this he was not so nice i want to know what this is about im so confused..

I am from south carolina. This has to be a scam! They said they were going to deliver a package i had to sign for, like I was being served. they never showed up and then they never had my phone number and i have had this phone number for 10 years! they had my father and husbands numbers. father told me to call a phone number  with a case # then the lady transferred me to a man that was acting as if he was someone iportmant telling me about an old credit card from 10 years ago that i had already paid off completely. I think they got a hold of my identity and old records! they said is was a chase account. and wanted me to make payments immediately. I told them i would just show up to court because i know that i paid off that credit card completely and it was paid & closed on on my last years credit report.

I know this has to be a scam!
