Received numerous calls from this number. most were recorded calls claiming to be Microsoft Tech Support Refund

Scam call received at work claiming to be Microsoft Support Refund. Don't fall for it, folks.

I received a phone call from 888-407-4102. They indicated they were from the Windows Refund Department on behalf of Dell. When I purchased my Dell computer, I paid money for technical support. He indicated that there was a refund and that he needed me to log into my computer and he would need to take control in order to remove some software and help me fill out the form for the refund. I promptly called Dell and talked to their IT department. It is a scam. The Dell IT Rep told me that they log onto your computer and put a password into your computer that only they know, rendering the computer useless. You have to pay them or they wont' give you access. THIS IS A SCAM!! Do not give out any information.

They called repeated times. I asked to remove my name from their list but they insist and call me one, two and many times. They left me a message that they wanted to refund my money from Microsoft. It's a SCAM...

I work with Microsoft, they would NEVER CALL YOU!

I have been receiving calls from this number for about a month as a matter of fact I just received a phone call from them. When I told a man on the phone it sounds like a scam he hung up on me.

I opened a support ticket for an HP personal computer.  I was done by man from India.  I could not understand his English.  I canceled the support ticket when he would not transfer me to USA support.  I had to get my refund back from MasterCard dispute.  The same day I started getting messages from (888) 407-4102 that said to call (888) 406-8921 to get a refund.  I was hesitant to call and later called.  Indian man said hello.  I was suspicious then.  He wanted me to log on to my PC to get the refund.  I said to send it via email.  He said then he would not refund it.  I said I would call HP and he hung up on me.  Then I received call from 866-297-0666 saying that I have been charged $466 for a yearly support ticket!  So far my credit card has not been charged.  If it is charged then I will know HP support has scammed me by the foreign Indian support site!
