They left can saying my student loan wasn't approved. I hadn't tried to get a student loan.

Claims to be from the "Federal Student Loan Review Center" to give me a quick reminder that the federal funding of any rate change or reduction in my student loan will be expiring soon so it is urgent I return her call. I looked up this "office" and there is no such thing. The Federal Government does have an review center and process for SCHOOLS to ensure they are eligible to receive funds! This seems to be a fraud/scam and I and my actual student have received calls numerous times in the last couple months!

I received the exact message today as you stated.  I thought it was odd and I know this is not the contact number for my student loan.  Thanks for posting this.

I received the same message. If it was that important, they will would have sent something in writing.,

**Fraud/scam; don't talk to them!** Left me a message regarding the "rejection of my student loan." Claimed to be from the Federal Student Loan Review Center. Freaked me out for a second because I've just had my application for income-based repayments accepted for my federal student loans! This is a crafty and evil fraud scheme. Good thing I'm always skeptical and google these sketchy 800/888 calls. Hope no one is falling for it.

Just happened to me...I'm more upset that they have information to know that i HAVE a student loan!!

just called my phone. woman named ashley claims to be with the federal student loan review center regarding reduction of my student loan. complete BS. dont fall for the scam!

Literally JUST got this call from "Ashley" 30 minutes ago. So obnoxious. Also, my phone never even rang, just got a voicemail notification without it ever ringing. Which makes me think it was a prerecorded audio clip that was mass sent out to multiple numbers at the same time.

Same as the others. It is claiming to be about my student loans, but is clearly a scam.

Just got the same thing!! Phone never rang and when I listened to the vm it was an Ashley saying that the funding for my loans was ending soon and I needed to call back ASAP. I am glad I looked at this thread. I just blocked the number

Oh my gosh I'm so glad I found this. I just put in to have my loans put in forebarence and I about freaked! People can suck!
