got one better, wife gets tri-folded letter marked offical notice enclosed, final notice, notice of resolution benefits........no company identification, no address, just the 888 number and reduction of money owed. no information at all.

Got a pink tri-folded letter saying it was a second notice.  Said tri-bureau credit report says we owe $xxxx but they can get it reduced 72%, restore out credit, etc.  We have OPTIONS.  Call before eligibility expires.  Says it from the "Consumer Assistance Center".

Was it a hoax?  Curious, just because it seems a little too good to be true without some serious stipulations attached.

Do not call this number.   They want you to enroll in a tax forgiveness program....it's a scam!
