    I received unsolicited text on iphone asking for personal information to be linked to http://amaxzonn/?  Note misspelling of amazon (i.e. one "x" and two "n"'s.  The website appears as Amazon but it is not.  Links are bogus.  Do not comply.  This must be pfishing and a scam.

    "Your Amazon account requires verification.  Please verify at the following link:"  I'm not about to transcribe the hyperlink here, but suffice to say that the site it directs to is "Amaxzonn", not Amazon.  Obvious phishing attempt considering that I never gave Amazon my phone number.

    amazon does not have my cell phone number and i never authorized them to send texts.
    got something similar re:paypal last week via email. watch out out there...it's dangerous! don't EVER click thru a link to something personal.go directly to the site and log in like normal.

    I also received a text asking me to verify my Amazon account. I do not have an Amazon account! The link doesn't spell Amazon correctly either 😠  I tried calling the number and it just gives you a busy signal. Do not fall for this!
