Sent a text message. This is a scam about owing money to Amscot. When I called Amscot they said they do not use 3rd parties for collections and they have no record of outstanding balance for me.

Sent text message directed to some random individual named Adrian claiming to be a collection agency stating they needed to contact them.

They said I had a personal loan owing $1,400.88 in collections from 2016. Ask for Teresa Byrd. I didn’t even live in NC in 2016. I live in SC. I have never borrowed money from that company. I think it’s a scam.

I contacted this number  855-948-0565 as directed by the above text which was sent from 888-418-7651. IT IS FRAUD DO NOT FALL VICTIM TO THESE SCAMMERS!

Sent a text message to contact 866-987-1939 in regards to account.

Same thing happened to me. They said I owe $1,400 from a loan I took out in 2016, which I never did.

A text message was sent to me from 888- 418-7351 and told me to call  833-993-0848. I was told I owe $1,000 from (cash advance) loan in 2016 in Oklahoma. I didn’t even live in Oklahoma in 2016! This is a scam!

Rply STOP."
(I noticed Reply is misspelled)

Got a text with my Name in ALL CAPS saying " Please contact 833-981-1103 at you earliest convenience regarding and Acct #. Reply Stop if it is not me. Which it is not me. I was this person 8 Years ago and have been divorced and remarried now for a while.. Also I have changed Phone #s atleast 4 or 5 times in those years. And this phone # is not even in my name. How in the Hell do they get these #'s.

“Please Contact 877-930-1516 at your earliest convenience regarding outstanding ACCT #19-H76222.This communication is from Capital Management, A collection firm. Any information obtained will be used for the that purpose. Reply STOP IF INCORRECT #.”
