Yes a scam call

So guy name Steve Larkin tried to contact one of my friends stating I owed money to a payday loan lender. He was rude, unethical, and tried to intimidate me by saying a legal claim was being placed in court

mr larkin called me and my family threating me w litagation for claim he did not disclose the claim and threated to take action against my wages

He called asking for my husband and used the correct name. Then asked for his mother by a different last name that I have never heard of and asking for a different family member getting the first names wrong but correct last names asking if it was a grandfather. Do not trust this guy. Total scam.

Total scam. Just got a call from him too. Pretty weird that they’d know my number calling for my Dad.

steve larkin called me my sister and my mom. left similar voicemails stating something about a surveillance video and needing a statement for im assumming court. we did not give him any info. kinda weird how he had all our numbers!

Received a call and vm from steve larkin stating i have a legal matter pending and i needed to call. He then got my mother in law on the phone, scared her into giving him money, kept calling me her daughter...She kept correcting him and saying i wasn't her daughter, but her dil! She asked if she paid $500.00 would it make everything go away and he immediately jumped on it! Thankfully she called me before doing anything! Then, today....I received a call from my brother in law with the same [***]!!! Obviously this is a scam! He told my brother in law that they were calling with legal action from the treasurers office! I called both offices, the sc one and the nd one (he said it was the nd office) and both females who answered the phone screamed scam!!

Same deal.  Called and left voicemail about a “prelegal claim” and wouldn’t say who, what, or why about it.  This a$$ has been taken to court for harassment in NY but uses loopholes to get away with it.  I’ll be darned if I’m calling him back.
