    Caller ID displayed "TOLL FREE CALL".  I let it ring through and leave a message.  It was a recording from "Dave", representing an unidentified company.  It advertised a "targeted email marketing platform" that will let you send 700,000 email ads a month for $99/month.  I called the number back.  It went straight to a recording that said, "Please hold while I try to connect you".  After listening for the music for a full minute with no response on the other end, I hung up.

    888-427-4794 called, left no message. I called the number back, waited while they connected me to a voice mail system for "Email Advertising". I left this message "Please remove my number from your calling list, my number is ***-***-1234"...then I hung up. This was my 1st call from this number, but I locked their company name in as Email Advertising so if they call again, I can answer and TELL them to remove me. I find that if I do this, it's worth the effort not having them ever call back!
